Terrible Customer Service and Food- I had troubles with BistroMD from the start. I signed up due to a promo offering 50% off your first order. Shortly afterwards they sent me an email cancelling the promo order and then shipped out a full-priced order that I didn't get to select so multiple of the meals were not to my taste. Unlike every other meal service company they don't notify you before the selection cut off date in case you want to select your meals or skip an order and once they charge your card its "too late" to cancel that order. The customer service in general is terrible, the people on the phone are unhelpful, and the food itself is overpriced and, after trying multiple of their meals, doesn't taste good. Steer clear! There are so many better meal delivery services!!

Awful food. I hated it. It is chopped as if the people have no teeth, so small, tasteless. It was the menoI tried to cancel right after my first meal, and something went wrong with the cancellation, and I was charged again for the next order and during the whole weekend I tried to contact them via their chat and no answer. Finally I contacted through the phone on Monday and I was refunded, what a relief. But the order will still come. I will donate the food, maybe someone wants it, but I don't advise it

Horrible customer service. Sent almost all the wrong meals and they were thawed out. Went in circles with their customer service. They have no quality control.

It was extremely disappointing that I received my meals, frozen and in plastic containers! That causes cancer. Other prepared meal companies are delivering fresh, unfrozen meals in thick cardboard containers. It is unacceptable that BistroMD’s founder is a medical doctor and would allow the food to be frozen in plastic containers, shipped out for people to eat and call it a healthy meal plan. I feel so misled since I thought these meals were freshly prepared and nothing has stated that it was frozen in plastic containers to be shipped out.

Use to be a good company until they got bought out by another company last year. Since then I have had 3 shipments with no ice with food partially thawed, 4 shipments with the wrong food and unapproved substitutions, 1 shipment arriving over a week late. Customer service hard to get hold of, most times won't respond to emails and they don't answer their phones. Terrible experience, I cancelled my subscription.

My recommendation is stay away from BistroMD. They made some change recently either organizationally or facilities/production. My very elderly mother loved BistroMD but suddenly starting in Nov they have missed ~8 weeks of meal delivery, plus 3 deliveries arrived thawed. We stuck with them as she really believed in the company but she depended on regular deliveries. The company has FAILED spectacularly and we will be dropping this company. After more than 30 calls and emails to customer service we are beyond frustrated. My personal recommendation based on their demonstrated performance is stay clear of this company.

Delivery and customer service were terrible. The first delivery took 4 days to come past the delivery date and was spoiled. The second delivery also came 5 days late. Customer service did not answer phones and email support sometimes didn't respond, and when they did respond, the responses were not meaningful or on point.
