I have been using BistroMD now for 5 weeks. I have lost 17 pounds. The first 3 weeks were tough for me as I received several meals that I did not enjoy. Most meals were VERY enjoyable. Others I ended up tossing, sadly. I will receive my 6th shipment this week and I have fully customized my shipments so that I love everything I receive. The meals are SO much better in the oven than heated in the microwave. They truly are culinary masterpieces but nuking makes for a soggy meal.

The food is pretty good and fresh. The portions are satisfying and a great way to teach your body about portion control. Some meals are better than others, but you have the option if you don't like a meal, to remove it which I think is great and demonstrates BistroMD's great customer service. Customer service also is friendly and always replies promptly. The choices and variety keep you motivated. The cost is also reasonable.

Customer Service: So far, customer service has been pleasant and responsive. I've communicated mainly via email, and have had all of my questions/issues addressed. Delivery/packaging: Food arrives solidly frozen, with no damage to the packaging of the individual meals. I'm able to re-use/recycle the cardboard boxes, but finding a home for the coolers has proved more difficult. Food: All of the food is well-prepared, whether I personally like the entree. I have been on the program 5 weeks, and have been happy with, or really liked, about 85% of the entrees. I have eaten a number of foods that I've never tried, or wouldn't normally eat regularly. For me, it is convenient to just pull out the entree and heat it up - no figuring out where to go for lunch, what to eat, etc. The portions are on the large size, so I am typically full, or close to full, after every meal. Combined with a new exercise regimen, I believe these meals are helping me to reach my goal.

I have been using BistroMD to deliver my food for 3 years now. I lost more than a 100 pounds and went from size 22 to size 8. I have struggled with my weight all my life and have a very complicated relationship with food. I am a busy professional, I live alone and do not enjoy grocery shopping or cooking. A friend recommended Bistro (her husband was on the program) and for the first time in my life I was able to stick with a weight management program. The food arrives every week and I just label the boxes and place them in the freezer. I take my lunch to work, heat it up in the microwave. In the evening, when I get home usually late and tired, it is a matter of taking my dinner out of the fridge and heating it in the microwave. I remove the food from the container, serve it in a plate, and eat it at the table with real silverware (quite civilized). The food tastes good and is varied. I like some entrees better than others, but that is the way it would be in a restaurant or if (Good forbid!) I cooked them myself. All in all, I am very happy with this program. It has changed my life!

BistroMD food is delicious and very filling. However, I have reached a plateau in my weight loss and not sure what more to do to continue to lose. Also, I wish they offered more flexible program than just a 5 or 7 day. I often have business or evening meetings and can't use my meal, so end up with a lot of extra. Being able to choose X number of breakfasts, lunches or dinners would be better for my lifestyle.

Flavorful food, good variety most of the time, colorful, though last week was heavy on turkey and fish. Leaves me satisfied so I am not constantly hungry. I am learning to love mashed cauliflower, though I still do not like minced broccoli stems or salmon.

The program has many meals but I keep getting the same one. I am gonna bet bored and quite the program. So I think they should send all the meals listed at least once.

The food is good but I wish it had less sugar. I am working hard to keep sugar intake low and some meals have way too much sugar. There are a lot of meal options with low sugar though.
