I received my first Birdfy feeder as a Christmas present in 2024 and began watching all of the activity in my yard. A few months later I found I enjoyed it so much I decided to purchase a second camera for a different area of my yard. At one point when I had trouble with the security and camera I contacted customer service and shared the issue and after determining the camera was malfunctioning they quickly sent a replacement camera at no charge. Last month the company reached out to see if I would be interested in becoming a Chief Experience Officer and testing out and reviewing other products of theirs. They sent me my new feeder the Birdfy 2 Smart feeder with Camera which includes two cameras. I appreciate the green color as it blends in a bit more in my yard than other feeders. I like the little cover with holes where the birds reach in to feed . It seems like there will be less spilled seed then with an open platform feeder and messy birds. The second camera takes such close up high-quality portrait video and images. It's so close up and clear that I can see the precious little red eyebrows on the sweet lady cardinals. Over the past year getting to see the cardinal family in my yard grow and take care of their babies has been something I look forward to and thoroughly enjoy each and every day. There is a Birdfy community on Facebook where it's fun to share your photos with fellow bird-lovers and see other's feathered friends. The Birdfy 2 was easy to set up and hook up to a tree in my yard. My one criticism is in hooking it up to a tree it angles down a bit rather than straight out. Although that could just be the tree I attached it to. I ended up putting a stick under the back in order to keep it more level. I look forward to watching this years bird babies grow up in our yard !

There were hiccups along the way, but I'm a satisfied customer who recommends this product. I had originally shared that the item was listed as arriving before Christmas, but then USPS updated that is would arrive on the 26th. Well, it made it before Christmas! Once I got it set up and positioned well, I was amazed to see how frequently the many birds we love were enjoying seeds from the feeder. We do have some video shots of a squirrel, but then used a method that we had come up with previously and it hasn't been able to get up there since. (If you're interested, look up the online post "The Most Effective Squirrel Baffle Ever (and it came free with your birdseed)!") It is amazing how calming and enjoyable it is to see close-ups of the birds eating at one's feeder. Even for those of us who watch them from afar regularly, the close-ups are striking and offer a more intimate and satisfying encounter with these feathered neighbors.

The quality of the images are stunning for the price of this feeder. Videos also have sound, you hear the birds chirp and sing. It's well made, easy to assemble and comes with all necessary hardware. Easily connects to wifi and has great battery life. Installed Dec. 8th and has 75% battery Dec. 22. The price point for Rookie feeder is spot on.

Terrible. I couldn’t change the delivery address. Customer service was NO help! So now my birdhouse is going to my old address. I won’t buy anything from you again!

It’s hard to get anyone to respond if you have a question or need to do a return. Updates: I changed my review from two stars to one star. They can try to brush over their response and hope you don’t read the actual . To clarify, they have now started to interact with me and initiate the return. When I wrote this review, there was no correspondence. Just a screenshot of the three request that I have made with no respond with s gaslighting responds saying “we have responded” and but there was no back-and-forth. Now that they have responded, we have had to correspond several times in order to even try to get the refund, and I am still not done. Confirm your address, done. confirm why, done. take a picture of it, done. try to give it to a friend, no I want a refund. we aren’t paying for shipping, so do you wanna pay by PayPal? No. They also send their email from support not from a birdfy email, another way to trip you up to hope things get lost in the shuffle. It has a feeling of “You still only have 30 days to get this done and we’re gonna hope you forget about it” I would not order from them again and stick to more reputable companies, and I hate to say it, Amazon.

Bought the product a day before the “delivery by Christmas” cutoff. Package sat with their shipping partner for 5 days and didn’t move. Was told it was weather, the that it was just an unexpected delay. Talked with their Customer Service about getting it sorted or replaced, and nobody will do anything. They passed me off to their Tier 2 Service Team who only responds by email. Said they would tell their supervisors but they’re all unavailable to call. No help to get anything resolved. Have given up expecting any support or the gift by Christmas.
