Birdeye is a Scam – Overcharged, Ignored, and Harassed Signing up with Birdeye was an absolute disaster from start to finish. They lured me in with promises of affordable services, only to hit me with unexpected charges well beyond what was agreed upon. When I raised a complaint, they completely ghosted me—no response, no acknowledgment, just silence. Their customer support is a joke. I couldn't get a hold of anyone when I needed assistance, and when I did manage to speak with someone, they were rude and dismissive. It's clear they have no regard for their customers. I was bombarded with incessant phone calls and rude emails demanding payment, even though I had already paid for services I never received. It's as if they were trying to intimidate me into staying. I wouldn't trust Birdeye to manage a lemonade stand, let alone my business's reputation. Their business practices are unethical, their customer service is non-existent, and their billing is fraudulent. Avoid them at all costs.

I started working with Birdeye in February 2025. I decided to work with them so they could integrate with my booking system Gloss Genius and automate text messages after every appointment by texting the client a link to leave a review. This sounded great and so i signed up. After many attempts for them to try to integrate with my booking system, it was determined that it wasn’t possible. I requested cancellation to my contract and a full refund of $3625.99 as this integration wasn’t possible. I’ve now been back and forth with 3 different people all promising to resolve this and issue a refund. Then i won’t hear back from anyone. Until i contact them again, then they assure me it will be resolved the next day. Finally today i filed a dispute with my capital one card. Before you use this company MAKE SURE they can actually do what the promised during your onboarding.

I signed a one-year contract with BirdEye after being explicitly promised by their sales team that I could cancel if the service didn’t meet our business needs. Unfortunately, the service fell far short of what was promised, and despite repeated requests for help, BirdEye couldn’t offer any workable solution. When I attempted to cancel — as was promised I could — BirdEye ignored that agreement and is now demanding full payment for the remainder of the contract. They’ve escalated the matter by threatening legal action and collections, even though they failed to deliver value or honor the sales terms that influenced my decision to sign. To make matters worse, I’ve repeatedly asked them to communicate via email due to time zone differences, but they’ve continued to call me early in the morning, ignoring my clear request for written communication. It feels invasive and unprofessional. This entire experience has been exhausting and completely one-sided. BirdEye’s handling of this issue has shown a lack of transparency, poor service, and total disregard for their customers' time and trust. I strongly urge other business owners to think twice before signing anything with BirdEye. Get every promise in writing and don’t count on their support if things go wrong. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Absolutely appalling company and service. They are great at taking their monthly retainer but usually very little to show for it. Tech support utterly useless. It’s really a type of scam - time and again we found the review request were not being actioned but they never sorted the issue. We have now cancelled and will be seeking legal compensation.

A sales person from this company called my office today and said he was my son and needed to speak to me. This is a horrible sales tactic. I was in the middle of sedation and left my patient to answer the phone thinking it was an emergency. This is not okay. Very shady! DO BETTER!
