Cost too much money. Doesn’t give a sound or color change to tell what is actually happening causes confusion to the person wearing it and the assistance of the device. Has been questioned as to weather it is even placed on correctly, it lays differently on his arm each time. Questioning how to even use it by the person, and his help assistance (therapist, caregiver, himself). Hope understanding of the device gets better, it seems like it could actually work to restore movement, repetition to help me.

The unit itself is wonderful and very beneficial. Customer service is lacking as they're understaffed and don't return calls in 24-48 hours. That and dealing with the time difference, it's a bit difficult trying to coordinate actually speaking with a person and getting results.

When ever I called no matter who it was to I was always put on an answering machine. A reply was always in excess of a couple of days or more. When I had a major concern it was four days before it was resolved. I purchased my L300 unit on May 14. I have been trying to return it since May 17. 8 days later I still have the unit trying to return it. Waiting for a FedEx slip. This is unacceptable. I also am up set because I purchased a remote separate of the unit. I am charged for this with a no reimbursement. I accept the penalty of $595.00 For the unit but I should be reimbursed for the remote. $297.00 Is a large penalty to accept. Not right Not fair. This remote will serve no purpose to anyone unless you own a L300 unit. I am asking to be reimbursed for the remote. I purchased it in good faith I would liked to be reimbursed in good faith. Customer service is poor. Communication with sales rep was awful and it took forever. Finally ordered device and now have to wait like 6 weeks for a rep to come and get it set up so we can use it. Unacceptable.

Very finicky and unreliable. Rarely works as it is supposed to.

I had a different perspective on Bioness when it first came out advertised. I don’t feel that it helps with walking or with foot drop. When I wear ithe device, it feels heavy and harder to walk. I like the exercise mode much better. Not worth the money.

Tech support was great. But I have yet to see an improvement over the Walk Aid that I also demo’ed for 2.5 weeks. I’ve only had the unit now 9 days and at 7 days it quit working and gave me an E1error code. It was evening CST and so I was not able to make connection with Tech suppprt until Day #8. When I did make contact with Tech support he was able to get the unit up and running again only to get the same error code 2 hours later. This time I called tech suppprt and spent an hour on the phone. Got the EPG running again and am being mailed a new EPG at this time. But my rep is Julie Mahdi and I don’t believe she has the unit programed correctly for me yet. I am to meet her again on Monday. I had hoped this to provide more support for my gait than the Walk-Aid, but that doesn’t appear to be the case for me at this time. It is more technically difficult to use.

I have had the L300 for a little over a year. I have had trouble with it emitting a solid high pitched tone which makes it impossible to use it at work as it causes un-welcomed attention. I did send it in for eval and repair, and even though customer service was excellent, it still is not fixed. The units loose signal between the gate sensor, cuff and control unit which causes the error tone. I inquired about trading it in for the new L300 GO model as there would not be a gate sensor or control unit to loose signal with the cuff and might help to solve the problem. However, there is no trade in value and I am very disappointed that there is not an upgrade program to the new GO model for current clients . Its almost as expensive as buying a car but when you buy a car, you at least get some trade in for your old model.
