Does not work on my arm

We paid $4,000 for a device for foot drop. We have had it a couple of months and now it turns his foot sideways that would roll his ankle if he stepped on it. We had to wait a month and have to drive 3 hours to another city to get an adjustment to the device in order for him to be able to use it again. Our rep is very nice, but when you pay that much for a device, someone should come to you if there is a problem! A representative comes to our hometown to show the device, but cannot come back to do an adjustment in order to be able to use it? Maybe it's just me, but if you can come here to sell it, we should have someone that will come to do the upgrade as well. Very disappointing.

Customer service needs to learn how to service. We had to send in our device to be repaired. I can’t tell you if it was correctly repaired because we did not get electrical cord back with device. I called for help and was willing just to buy a new cord to avoid all the red tape as we’ve already not had the device for over a month. I was told I basically had to start over with getting the device repaired but this time with a new issue-no cord. Considering the fact that the cord was not returned with the device after it was fixed this is ridiculous. The customer service person did not show any compassion nor did she care that the company screwed up by not sending cord back. It is my problem not theirs.

With no insurance assistance, I paid out of pocket for this hardware. My son, got very little benefit, if any, from this. Also, he gets vertigo from time to time while using the product. The product support has been good as far as tweaking the settings. However, they have not been able to get to the bottom of his vertigo. The point of my review is not to get your hopes up. The stroke my 14 year old son suffered was devastating and we were willing to try anything to help his recovery.

Not as easy as video on face book looks

Communication with my representative is lacking. She is to busy to get back to me. She was too hurried when we met up to demo the device. I'm having a lot of difficulty. This product is not doing what it claims and it's not helping

After ordering the device based on your Regional Specialists assessment we had to return it. Note the following email from a Physical therapist we went to for a second opinion: JESSICA CARMODY You;Ryan Cusack;HEATHER J OSBORNE;Maggie Fisher Mr. & Mrs. Harrison, I understand your decision to decline the Bioness. It is my assessment as well, as we have discussed, that Mrs. Harrison's quality, safety, comfort, stability, speed, ease of movement and safety are not significantly improved with the use of the Bioness over her AFO. Since she does not have any additional clinic visits and the decision regarding the Bioness unit has been made, I will write up her discharge paperwork. It was nice to work with both of you and I wish you a very wonderful trip back to the Philippines when you go. Jessica Carmody, MPT I would suggest the following new protocol be established: A Bioness device should not be ordered until at least 4 physical therapy sessions are completed by a trained therapy center that has their own Bioness device.
