$500 product with a $2,000 sales support team, that sells for $5,500...you do the math...

I have used the L300 Go for the past 10 days or so. I'm still figuring out what intensity should I use during various activities. In general It's been helpful, but a little on the expensive side (over $5,000), and especially when insurance (AETNA-Core Plus Choice POS II), doesn't even cover a penny of the cost. Anyway, I still have a few days to decide whether I am keeping it or not. We'll see....

Elimination of the foot sensor and the remote control unit is indeed an improvement over the previous version L300. I encountered a defect three days after usage: the battery charge indicator (the short bar) no longer turns on. It remains dark so we cannot tell whether charging is in progress or completed. I purchased the Bioness300 with the additional thigh cuff for my husband,While i believe the unit would be extremely beneficial it appears there are no local therapists who are trained to work with this unit. Thus it has been frustrating to get proper gait training for him.

I will say this my experience is not based on the application specialist! The setting up and purchase if the brace was great! The application specialist takes my call whenever needed. It has more to do with the device itself. It has worked very intermittently. When it works well it works really well. Some times the foot piece will just randomly stim. It seems like there are some bugs that need to worked out. At times it is difficult to use when it isn’t working right. I follow the guidelines with keeping the pads wet and allowing my skin to breath. If they can get the bugs worked out it will be a great device.

I sent an email but never, ever got a response. After waiting a couple of days, I called twice and was helped both times. As for the sales rep, she has just emailed me to say that she cannot make our next appointment and I am not happy about this. I was having a hard time with both devices but am doing a bit better now that it has been nearly a month since I am using them. I still would like to see Alicia and hopefully she will be able to work it out.

It takes a while to figure out exactly where to place the device on my leg so it lifts the foot correctly. I'm still not sure I've found the magic "sweet spot" where it will work optimally. Plus, like most devices, I don't think a lot of consideration was given to the likelihood that most people using it would have only the use of one hand ( if they are stroke patients). So it can really be a challenge to put it on! I also had hoped that it would give a more natural gait than my AFO device, but i still walk really stiff-legged That said, I think (hope 0 that the electro-stim will have a therapeutic effect and allow those muscles to get some exercise that they wouldn't with an AFO.Time will tell.
