Their customer service is absolutely terrible. There's no easy mechanism to contact them, when you call them they can't fix some very easy problems. This is the worst credit card I've ever had.

Activated daughter as authorized user, then she went to Ireland where card didnt work AT ALL. Called and got yet another foreigner almost impossible to understand (BILT PLEASE get Americans to answer the phone) and was told there was some sort of second step whereby she was to be "invited" after activation and there's a glitch..."invite pending" stuck in a loop that they are working on. Brand new but as of this point, I'd give BILT ZERO stars if I could.

A trap, AVOID! I heard Bilt could earn rewards for rent payments, read a few articles about it, then decided to try it out. I can only conclude Bilt is paying a lot of blog writers because none of their promises about rent payments held true. Most significantly, everywhere said there were no fees for using Bilt for rent, but all the cards I tried said they would accrue transaction fees greater than any possible reward. I then tried to remove my cards and cancel my account, but ended up having to use Google to figure out how to do that, and then to reach the part of the website with the field to request the deletion, as the buttons on the site did not seem to work. I've requested all of my data be deleted, we'll see if that actually happens.

Their new Bilt 2.0 is a major letdown and also very scammy. I pay my bill in full every month on autopay yet I still received 2 random interest charges. When I reached out to customer service I was bounced around a couple of times and they gave a vague response that did not make sense. I emailed back twice more asking for more information and they have ghosted me.

This company is a data harvesting company. Their businness model is based around collecting and profiting from surveilling your finances and life. They are a part of the problem. And they purposely position themselves to make it impossible for renters to not use them. And now they got their hooks into my mortgage servicer UWM. After their "partnership" there is no longer a digital means to manage my loan without signing up for the Bilt portal. I will now be managing my loan over the phone like it's 1984 and we live in a George Orwell novel. The sooner Bilt ends, the better.

This is the dumbest app ever. I want to pay early and am having problems doing that. On top of which, I have to be told from a human I have to use chat to get help. What was wrong with the old system? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" never hurt anyone.

If I could have given them less than one star, I would have. I just want to pay my mortgage payment without going through Bilt, but since my mortgage company has partnered with Bilt, I don't seem to have that option. I have been trying to make my mortgage payment since June 1, and have been continually told that they can't find my loan. It's now the 13th, and they will start charging me late fees on the 16th. They are still telling me they can't find my loan. If this isn't a scam, it sure acts like one. Payment processing is very poor or nonexistent, Customer Service is no help if you can actually get thru, and they will not return your call if you leave a message.
