Excellent tow leash, it’s safe and fun to use. My dog is just under 40lbs and any sudden movements ie her chasing another dog did not effect the stability of the bike, I would still keep n eye out of course but in general the low centre of gravity and buffer from the elastic contained within the tubing was enough to keep me confidently biking 2 miles to the park. Great idea and love the product.

The BEST tow leash for dogs on the market. Fabulous customer service!

Worked well for my lab, not so well for my Heinz 57 (hound dog mix). Dogs are different heights and one is comfortable running next to my catrike while the other doesn't like to be so close. Also, I mounted it on the right side (grass side) of the trike so they aren't in traffic. I purchased the quick mount, however it didn't work on the right side so only option was to mount it permanently to the trike and take my quick release hub off. Not what I was hoping for and I've decided to just use leashes with the dogs instead of the bike tow leash. I full time RV and have to disassemble the trike to put it into my truck bed before I hook up the 5th wheel. Without the quick release hubs it makes for more work to take down and put back together.

There should be a way to make it work with the quick release. Please email us pictures of the right hand side of your catrike. One way to leave the Quick Mount installed when you remove the wheel with the quick release is as follows; If your trike has the two threaded holes above the axle as in the right Side Cattrike photo on our fit chart, you can mount the Quick Mount above the axle with two bolts thru the slots into the threaded holes. To solve the skittish next to the trike issue; Place the stronger pulling dog next to the trike and other one outside with the Dog Coupler. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Mike

t was recomended by my Trek dealer, My dog loves it, I can take him out without wearing myself out. Have two dogs now and can't wait for spring so I can take both out, (one at a time). Thanks

So much fun and feels very safe. My dog adjusted to it easily. It’s easy to take on and off for off leash riding and I even use it in the city on bike lanes. Highly recommend! Great way to tire out your dog! .Only issue is price but I don’t regret spending the money.

Extremely professional and personable service! The owner went out of his way to respond to me on a weekend and spent his own personal time assisting me with assembly. Top notch service!!!

My dog is 30 kg in weight, and has a strong hunting/chasing instinct. I have been using the Bike Tow Leash to run her for 2 months now. The low attachment point on the bike means she can't pull me over, and she quickly realised she is securely attached. We have had no 'incidents' at all, just good safe running.
