I returned a bike during the 14 day window and they lied saying I crashed the bike and they had to replace parts. They even noted that the broken derailleur happened in a crash and could not have happened from shipping, which is a complete lie. Not sure how they can say that it was not broken during shipment.

The Bikesonline team responsiveness was okay within 24 hours of raising tickets. However, dealing with their chosen logistics partner was an absolute nightmare. The reality is once the bike is shipped, ownership and blame become someone else's problem. And dealing with this overseas was really frustrating. The tracking numbers are not working. No one knew where the bike was. Being told the bike would be delivered and arranged for someone to be home, and the bike never turned up for days and into weeks. Then finding out finally that the logistics company doesn't deliver to our area, so it was now someone else's problem - a 3rd party to the 3rd party FFS. The bike never turned up, so I had to drive to the 3rd party's logistics depo to collect the bike myself, while the lazy depot staff sat in the air-con, telling me that I couldn't unbox there as his skip was full. Laxy attitudes, lazy experience. Never again. Trustpilot asked me for the date of the experience. I have too many dates to enter.

I bought a very expensive bike from bikes online that was spec'd with great Maxxis tires. When it arrived, however, the tires were not Maxxis, but some weird off brand that is much cheaper. I asked bikes online customer service for help in getting the correct spec (the one that was advertised on their site), but they basically told me to deal with it. Its been two weeks, and this still isn't resolved. Very disappointed in the bait and switch.

First, I am not one of those people that will take the time to disparage a company or write a review because I have the time. I ordered a bicycle from them on 12/10 and yes I know I was cutting it close. But the delivery said before Christmas. So I went ahead to place an order. On 12/22 they sent me an email (not a phone call) saying that they had oversold the bicycle that I had ordered. They offered another one in another color which would have been fine and a $50.00 off that model. The problem was that they could not deliver by Christmas. I called them and asked if they could make it right and send it by Saturday, Christmas Eve, no can do. I would have been okay except that this was the one present my son had asked for. Yes I should have ordered sooner but couldn’t they have at least called and offered the other model? Also I find it sketchy that they realized that they realized that they “oversold” the bicycle the week of delivery.

Non existent customer service. Bike promised to arrive days before Christmas. Sad 6 year old still with no bike.

Customer care gets 1 star. I purchased 2 bikes from this website. I purchased the bike 7 days ago. The price of the bike went down for Black Friday. I e-mailed the company about the price difference and got NO RESPONSE. I called the company and they told me that the Black Friday sale is a "one-offs" sale and that they will not reimburse the difference. I will have to return the bike and buy the same bike AGAIN to get the new sale price. Their website link on returns and exchanges states: "We get it, we all love to find deals and save money that's why we have a Post Sale Guarantee! If an item goes on sale within 14 days from the day you purchased, let us know and we’ll issue the difference as Bikes Online store credit, no questions asked." Not to mention, the bike has a bent disc brake, loose bottom bracket, and non-functional seat raiser. Stay away from this company. I am an avid cyclist and this is a horrible customer care experience and product is sent with need of repair to be useable.

Bike came with faulty brakes that BikesOnline refused to reimburse me for. This is a serious safety issue that could have gotten me killed, but they really don't seem to mind. DO NOT BUY FROM BIKESONLINE. SAVE THE EXTRA BIT OF MONEY TO BUY FROM YOUR LOCAL DEALER.

It’s been 29 days since I paid for my bicycle including delivery and it has still not been delivered. The person at bikesonline that I enquired with basically says it’s my problem and I need to follow up with the couriers where the package is. The absolute poorest service I have ever received and that after spending a ton of cash with them…….
