I got great deals on all my books but BigWords redirected one rental textbook to a site called Booksrun, and I just clicked through and ordered like I usually do. However, I ended up ordering a book rental that was due back in mid August, and I ordered the book in late July! I guess it's my fault that I didn't check the due back date, but why would I ever rent a school textbook for one month? And I feel like BigWords shouldn't have redirected me to a site that automatically rented a book for a month, when all of the other sites Bigwords has redirected me to in the past have rented me books for exactly one semester.

Need better quality features. I don't want books with missing pages.

I've been using Bigwords.com since I started my graduate program in May and have been really pleased until my most recent order. Two out of the three text ordered arrived ahead of schedule (one even came all the way from Malaysia early) but I am still waiting on the third and continually am told it has shipped but there is no tracking number...that does not make me feel very confident. I will be more hesitant to use Bigwords.com in the future because of this.

i still have not received one of my books Advanced Practice Nursing. I'm into my second week of class and i was promised it would be here in 3-6 days. I am not happy about that, Please f/u & call me. Thanks

Not guaranteed to get my books but cheap if I do

While Bigwords.com compiles lots of different sources for buying books at the lowest price and that should make the site outstanding, my issue is with the reliability of the service. If you click on the 'shipper info' for the book you want to buy, all of the them have only 15 or less ratings on their service. I would try out Bigwords.com to get a cheaper price on textbooks if they had enough ratings on the shippers service. In summary, Bigwords.com should be a great service but it falls to ordinary because it isn't tried, tested and rated. Everyone has to start at the beginning for developing something new but I'd rather use Amazon.com for my textbooks because the company already provides plenty of ratings for suppliers and sellers of textbooks.

Whenever I want to sell books of any type, Bigwords.com is my go-to starting point. It gives me a great reference point as to how much I'll probably get. It used to work great, but as booksellers have gotten more complicated (e.g., sellback must total over $50), Bigwords is now not as accurate. It looks like it's having difficulty adjusting. That said, it is the ONLY place I recommend to others who need to buy textbooks! I think it is still a great resource for all us students, past and present!

The information contained in the Bigwords.com emails is mostly interesting, but I get so many emails, it is difficult to read them all. If it were less often I would give it a higher rating.
