Bigger pockets does not fit their investors. Their supplying contacts for investors and they reach out to you. And they steal your money over five thousand dollars. In my case, up front fees and taxes
Hello, after calling bigger pockets and speaking with their guys and them. Referring our investment financing to several of their investors, one of them reached out to us and we filled out forms and gave them information, and all the breakdown in the property and paid fees. Taxes, and it's a mother amount of money totaling over $5000 to there in so-called investor up front for him to process the paperwork on a preaval, and then 2 days later, he disappeared from big pockets from social media, we had an address for him in Washington, state. And then that disappeared. Everything disappeared on this individual, along with my money. Bigger pockets does not vet their investors. They don't give a s***, they don't, they said, well, you know, they're subcontractors, and we Don 't really have anything to do with them, well then, bigger pockets is full of s***. All the time, every time

Hi Paul, we're genuinely sorry to hear this. Losing money to someone you trusted with your financing is a painful experience, and we don't take it lightly. To clarify how BiggerPockets works: we're a real estate investing community and marketplace where members connect with independent lenders and real estate professionals. We do not originate loans or subcontract lenders to do so. We'd like to take a better look into this. If the individual had an account on BiggerPockets, we want to know about it so our team can investigate. Please reach out through [email protected] with any details you have about how you connected. We also recommend reporting the incident to local authorities since they're equipped to pursue recovery. - The BiggerPockets Team
