They are as their name suggests. Will make big promises to get your contract. Once you sign the contract, a third party comes to do the work and their is no accountability on their side. Our turf is installation was done so poorly that it sinks in the center. They will threaten you with litigation and bully you if you ask them to do their work. Forget about the 4 year and 15 year warranty. They will not respond to your call once you have paid them.

Avoid Big Bully Turf
Avoid Big Bully Turf – Poor Customer Service & Lack of Transparency
We had a very disappointing experience with Big Bully Turf, and we want to make sure future customers are fully aware of what to expect before investing in their product.
1. Lack of Transparency on Turf Burn Risks – We were never properly informed about the potential for window reflection causing turf burn during the sales process. If this is a widely known industry issue (as they later claimed), it should have been clearly explained upfront so we could take preventative measures. Instead, we were left to discover the problem after installation, with no warning.
2. Poor Customer Service – When we reported the issue, it took over a month to get any real response. No one from Big Bully Turf ever came out to assess the damage in person. Instead, they sent us pictures over email and made a remote diagnosis, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Good customer service means taking the time to assess issues properly, not just relying on past experience to make assumptions.
3. Lack of Accountability – While we acknowledge that we initialed a section about sun damage, simply signing a form isn’t the same as being properly advised about how this could impact our specific installation. Given how common this issue seems to be, it should be a priority for Big Bully Turf to educate customers before they purchase - not after they experience problems.
4. No Real Resolution – Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of upfront communication, Big Bully Turf’s only “solution” was offering to replace the damaged area at our cost. This is unacceptable for an issue that could have been avoided with proper consultation.
Future Customers Beware – Since Big Bully Turf does not prioritize informing customers about these risks, we will do our part to make sure others know before they commit to installing their turf. If you’re considering using this company, be sure to ask about window reflection and turf burn before signing anything - because they won’t make it a priority to tell you.
We hope this review helps others make an informed decision before choosing Big Bully Turf.

Lot's of Promises with Little Results
After recieving many calls trying to sell the project and agreeing to use their service, plus paying a deposit, they stopped communicating completely.
The work was to be done at an apartment with tenants and I needed a tenative schedule and timeline to share with the occupants. After numerous calls leaving messages asking for a call back I finally reached out and informed the saleperson I was cancelling the job. I recieved a call, with a demand for an additional $3500 and they would start the project. I asked for a guarantee in writing that they would show and they refused.
After reading the reviews on TrustPilot, this seems to be a common occurence with this Big Bully Turf. I will not be using them any further.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE BIG…
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE BIG BULLY TURF! As a senior citizen, and a U.S. Navy veteran, I was taken advantage of. My initial bid was ten thousand dollars for a 900 Sq. ft. yard. Ti try to save some money, I (the home owner), cleared my yard and disposed of the old grass myself. I also had to shorten the amount of turf to also save money. Although the turf is good, the installation was done poorly. I was left with unfinished edges that big bully calls a "natural" edge. Seams are very visible. Perimeter edges were left ragged and untucked. I can go on. IF you do use this company, you'll be sorry in the end. There is a total lack of customer service once your check has cleared. The installation looks totally unprofessional, and if you would like to see my yard, feel free to call me at 702-648-0335, and I can schedule an appointment to show you what a bad job they did. They say there is a customer satisfaction guarantee, but they don't seem to want to honor that statement. Don't trust your sales consultants, they don't like to write important details on your contract, and give you no options other than turf type. BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

After meeting with Quentin who drew up…
After meeting with Quentin who drew up our design plans, my wife and I decided to go ahead and hire them to complete our project of irrigation system, plant install, planters build and turf install. After making our deposit, I was informed that people would show up at my house between 8 and 8:30 AM. No one showed up before 10AM. My wife and I were informed that the entire project would take only 3 days. They arrived at my house between 10 AM and 11:00 AM instead of between 8 and 8:30 AM every day. During production, the plans that Quentin drew up for us had to be modified due to improper measuring and putting things on the plan in the the wrong places. The worker's foreman, Chello, didn't notify me or my wife when he and his crew were finished for the day, any day. He didn't communicate to my wife or me that he or anyone wasn't even to come on a very hot day. Here I am 20 days later and they are still not completely done. They charged my wife's credit card without us even doing a final walk through to make sure we were completely satisfied. I received a call 3 days after they charged my wife's card for a final walk through only to be blown off by David. I called again 3 days later to get a final walk through yesterday. The work is still not complete to mine or my wife's satisfactory. My wife called Quentin, the one who sold us on the project, I sent him texts only to be ghosted by him. He never returned my wife's call even after I sent him my wife's number. My wife even tried to contact Chello only to be ghosted by him as well.

The sales person breezed thru the contract. Instructed me to initial the back so" we can get this done". I wasn't offered any discounts as Veterans, and a promo on flyer of 30% discount for belonging to the YMCA which I am a member. I'm 81 years old I do think I was duped by the salesperson he had an easy sale he new I needed the ground cover so we have an easy sale old F---. I had weeds growing thru the turf and the pavers. 3 days later. I was told by the salesperson that the weeds was up to the owner. as part of my maintenance. This was never discussed by the salesperson or company.02/10/2024

My turf was installed on a Monday 3/4 of a day job. Was told install Mon and Tues. walk thru on job on Wed. Ok, hung around for 2 days for walk thru. No show and no calls. Turf looks good. Clean up of street with base gravel. Not good. The guy that set it up was very nice, but disappointed that once they had my money they didn’t stand by there word. Honesty is dead!
