non needed repair made on a presumption
Hounded by the HOA here in southern California, I had Big Bully replace the front yard with their turf. During the process, they accidentally cut the plastic pipe leading from the backyard that drained any extra flow of water from that area. I previously told them the water to the backyard was cut off due to some would be thieves trying to enter the backyard broke the entire plastic caps that distributed the water. They were aware there was no water line and yet decided to replace with plastic totaling $698.00. I immediately called the finance company and they allowed this additional cost to my loan. This was done as they were completing the job drainage to the street. I have never been approached of a charge YET here they are demanding the $698.00. They monthly payment of over $278 are made on time and I will pay the $698 right now. It would be nice if I did not get a threatening letter from their legal department but I can understand since the job was completed in mid August. A simple request to this disabled Vietnam veteran would have been appreciated with a simple bill which I have NEVER received would have been simple. I will contact the finance company and hopefully have them deduct the charges for the material. Thank you. Sadly, a simple telephone call or a simple billing would have prevented this avenue of complaint. So sad r martinez
