Beware! This is a soulless company and the very unhappy employees in the Mansfield OH location act like they know just how bad the company is (especially a certain woman in the cage area). Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions section before doing anything. I didn't, unfortunately, and paid a high price (literally) for my negligence/stupidity. I won an auction for a sofa that was "good condition" and decided not to take it when I saw it's poor condition. The woman that scans you out just said "OK, you're all set". When I returned to ask where my refund was (over $200!) customer service said they don't refund items marked "good condition" (it's in the terms section). My complaint is, why on earth didn't the woman who scanned me out not tell me this (just in case I'm an idiot who didn't read the small print) and suggest I take the sofa anyway (especially since it was over $200) ?!?!?! It would have been so easy and courteous, not to mention good customer service, but I guess that's not their style. I emailed their northern location and all I got back was a copy/paste section from their terms and condition page. Nothing personal, no hint an actual person read my plea for help. Basically, just "F-off". So... BEWARE!! The deals are waaayyy more trouble than they're worth.

Pretty scummy to be honest.

When BidFTA first opened I purchased several items with no problem. However, my recent items in good condition were not. One example, I purchased an above ground planter with a fabric insert. When I opened the box it was clearly used a season, taken apart and returned. There was dirt and weeds still in the fabric. There were no parts in the box to put it together. I will not purchase anything other than brand new and check it out completely before leaving the store.

I accidentally selected this item of 32 wooden cases; could you please cancel the order? These types of businesses are operated by shady individuals, and I question why the government fails to hold them responsible; there ought to be a way to cancel your bid if it was an error. Perhaps my bank account lacks sufficient funds. I recognize there is a contractual agreement, but no consideration for these individuals. I have sent them numerous emails and they simply continue to refer to the binding policy. I’ll collect the product regardless, but if it’s damaged, I’ll take legal action against them. I inquired whether they could subtract the restocking fees and process a refund for the remaining amount? No reply. Kindly avoid getting caught

DON’T TRUST THIS COMPANY! SHADY ACTIVITY!! Tonight will be the last time I bid on anything from this company. I believe they are bidding on their own items as I sat and watched the item I was bidding on get down to 19 seconds before closing and then 3 mins were added to the timer. I continued to watch and once again the item counted down to 32 seconds and once again another 3 mins was added to the count down as bids began to fly in. I ended up winning the item but I don’t feel comfortable spending my hard earned money on a company that price gouges its customers to get higher bids. Not cool

They used to be great.But they have gotten shadier and shadier. Nowhere on their website does it say you have to review your items before 5:30 or you can't get a refund, but they just told me you can't get a refund if you don't review them before 5:30. You used to be able to look at a partial refund or a full refund if something was broken or damaged unless it is good condition. Now if it's in good condition, it can be completely shattered and useless and they still refuse to refund it. Buyer beware, do not buy anything at all from them unless it says brand new or your screwed. They've cost me over a $100 in items that were supposed to be listed as missing but never were, things that should be returnable but were not allowed. I hate writing this review because I have sent a lot of business there way including my own, and I'm not saying, don't buy anything from them, because I probably still will too.I'm just saying make sure that you don't buy anything unless it's listed as new or you can afford to throw your money away.

I put in a "Max Bid" on 2 items in the same auction, and won the first item and watched the auction close on that particular item at about $12 dollars under my max bid. While waiting on the second item I watched the first item auction open back up and the auction was ran up to my max bid, and then closed out again.

Understand the company changed the definition of "Good Condition" in September of 2025. "Good Condition" now defines broken items, missing parts, heavily used, etc... They suggest an in-person inspection prior to bidding which shifts the responsibility of determining the condition of the item from the company to you. Prior to 2026 I got some good deals. Now everything rated as "good condition" could literally be something you have to pitch in the trash which happened on my most recent purchase. It is time to put this company out of business. ------- BidFTA updated its "Good Condition" definition around September 2025, shifting it closer to an "as-is" policy where items may have defects, missing parts, or damaged packaging, and are not guaranteed. While earlier policy changes were noted in 2024, the updated, stricter interpretation of "Good Condition" was highlighted in late 2025 to encourage in-person inspection -------
