staff weren't wearing masks
When I visited, the receptionist at the front desk was not wearing a mask. That is reckless and dangerous. I came to get tested for COVID, not to try and get infected with it.

I had labs done and had to call and get results no one called me. When I called and was waiting on those results on hold no nurses picked up to the point where the receptionist got annoyed because she was personally telling them to pick up for me. Then I had to request my results on my portal to know what to tell my Dr. on my follow up

Poor customer service

The time of check in to being seen was over one hour and half. This is sitting in your vehicle waiting for someone in BetterMed to call you to come back into the building to be seen. Once inside you are tested for Covid wait 15-20 minutes for your results. No one check you out for any other symptoms or possible other problems you complain of if you test positive! I know we’re in a pandemic but we must do better.

The doctor misdiagnose what I had, and prescribed a cream that made my issue much worse causing me to go to another urgent care. The other urgent care was much more professional and helpful in diagnosing my issue, and providing me with the correct prescriptions which improved my issue. This urgent care was the total opposite!! The staff at the desk were so quick to get a co-pay rather than hear my issue, and the staff member at the desk did not listen to my instructions that I preferred to do in the process of paying the co-pay which caused me to feel misunderstood. I told everyone I knew to not come here for anything.

They denied my service after waiting 1 hour and 30mins to be seen. The reason I didn’t receive service “they claimed was because they didn’t have enough employees and the ones that were there needed to go home. I was told to go to the emergency to hydrate.

I made an appointment on line. I arrived at Better Med 15 minutes before my appointment at 12:00 pm. I called when I got there and told them I had arrived. She told me they were behind and 2 people were ahead of me and she would call me back. I waited in my car for 1 hour so I called her back. She asked if I had been registered and I said no. She asked me some questions and said she would call me back when she was ready for me. In about 15 minutes she told me to come in. She told me to go to Room 3 and I sit in the room for another hour without one person coming in. I called my husband who was waiting in the car for better than 2 hours and told him I had not been seen by anyone. I finally went out in the hallway and asked the people at their computers if they could tell me how much longer I had to wait. I was told be one of the ladies they were behind and only had 1 machine. I went back to the room. I told my husband what I had been told and he came inside and was told that they were waiting for my results. He told her that he had talked to me and I had not been seen by anyone. Finally someone came in and checked my vitals and did a nose swab. The lady that I had asked about how much longer came in and asked me a couple of questions. She then asked me if I wanted to leave and they would call me with the results. I did leave after being there for 3 hours. She called me back with my results. I am a 71 year old lady that that was there for 3 hours without any lunch.

Misdiagnosed on a Friday with possible strep, even though cultures were negative on site. Sent home with a Zpak. Returned Sunday with worse symptoms, sent thyroid blood sample in, added a steroid for swelling. Monday finally went to an actual hospital, it was Shingles of my face and mouth. I also have a newborn at home. I constantly told all of the better med PAs and CNPs of my worry with the baby, and they said 24 hours on your meds and your child will be fine. With Shingles, if my son comes in contact with me at any point in the 7-10 days he has the highest risk, including anything I touch. Since seeing the hospital for actual diagnosis, the staff has checked up every 2 days with progress, and checking on my infant (not their job, but heartening), and having an ENT follow up to monitor changes, and contacted my sons pediatrician (different health systems). Since better med, one person called saying "hey, it's not strep" and another spoke to my wife saying my thyroid was fine, after we already told them what the real diagnosis is. I know nurses and PAs are the real doers in the hospital systems, so leave the arrogance for the MDs and DOs. If you don't know, admit it, and consult with your peers and those that might know better. A CNP diagnosed my singles, and even consulted with the overseeing doctor who i never saw to determine best coarse of action. Know what you know, care to learn what you don't.
