I went for a COVID test after my mother and sister tested positive! I had been quarantining and was going to until the 14 days since exposure was up, but I am a college student so I’m young and everyone just seemed kind of rude and condescending to me, I definitely did not feel welcome. It was nice to get a test and results so fast, but not a great patient care experience. Just because I’m in college does not mean I’m being reckless with this virus.

I wasn't pleased with my visit. the staff was nice, pleasant but I really didn't care for the service, all that was done was my BP checked, a conversation and then I was given a brace that didn't fit I was in so much pain all Christmas holiday due to the physician assistant not sending pain meds to pharmacy Not please and I will not be returning

TestForTravel.com lists facilities that provide COVID19 travel test results in 72 hours or less. BetterMed is listed on TestForTravel.com as a facility that provides COVID19 travel test results in 15 minutes. However, only after no one answered the 7 phone calls phones in Oct to the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania VA locations, and driving to the Dec appointment, I was told by the testing nurse the COVID19 travel tests they offer have 3 to 5 days for results. It felt kind of Bait-and-Switchy (not saying they were doing that). BetterMed should correct the info listed about their company on TestForTravel.com, answer their phones, and state on the BetterMed website the the have a 15 minute rapid test that is not accepted by airports and many countries requiring test to enter and there real COVID19 travel test results are 3-5 which is too long for countries requiring results in less than 3 days. The receptionist was nice though.

I came in with burning ear pain. When my blood pressure was taken it was very high for my typical normal pressure. 154/90 approximately. ( I am normally 120/80). Th e tech taking my pressure said she would come back and take it again but never did. When the PA came into the room she didn’t mention my blood pressure so I guess it either wasn’t recorded or she didn’t notice. I was given a steroid pack for my ear. When I got home my wife was alarmed at my blood pressure numbers. She told me to go back and have them take it again. I went back the next day and it was 177/110 in the right arm and 166/100 in the left. All the tech said was so you feel dizzy? And I went home. My wife was upset when she heard that my blood pressure was that high and immediately called the cardiologist. He called in a blood pressure medication and saw me the next day. As it turns out I have a blockage in my left anterior descending coronary artery and will have a stent placed on Monday. If my wife had not been knowledgeable about high blood pressure and what could be wrong I might not have done anything about it because I don’t know what levels are considered dangerous. It concerns me that Better Med ignored or didn’t react to blood pressure numbers that were dangerously high
