I visited an Urgent Care the address below on 3/29/21 , before I went to I called first to ask if BetterMed participate to my health insurance , Anthem MediBlue Local . A clerk answered : yes . I come there showed my insurance card to a clerk .After that the clerk charged $10.00 for copay and said a receipt through email. I paid the charge by my credit card . When coming home I get an email and a charge :$381.00. That means total are $391.00. I check my policy insurance : I only have to pay $20.00 copay. What happened ? Can you explain ? That is a reason I give 1 star

Bad administrative service, lack of communication, and overall rude employees.

No Doctors on staff IN the office. Was not aware!

Before my appointment I sent in all my information including my insurance. Waited 20 minutes to be seen then was told that my insurance was not taken

The receptionist told a woman in the waiting room that she wasn’t sure if they offered the type of test she needed. I was rudely told to wait in my car because of my symptoms which would have been fine except for the way it was addressed. I finally get the call to come in and the I waited 10 minutes in a room (during COVID)- there were no other patients in the building other than the woman needing a glucose test for her pregnancy, something the receptionist wasn’t even sure they could do. I walked out without seeing a doctor. Went to Patient First. Would recommend Patient First 100x more than Better Med.

I was told there was no charge for a Covid test but now I have been billed $50

The receptionist that takes your information was clueless and rude! She should not ever have a job dealing with the public. Dumb as a ROCK !!!! the nurse did not even have the correct information to give me the proper test. The paper I was to initial to authorize services they had me initial AFTER services. TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!

Poor direction on handling symptoms. I specially asked what to look for and the only response I received was what required a visit to the emergency room. Fortunately, I visited my primary physician, who prescribed antibiotics and medicines to avoid my condition worsening. Shame on you.
