I didn't even get to see a doctor. I had money to pay and they still wanted a credit card which I did not have on me at the time. I had been there before with no problems. Seems like they should have had any credit card information in the computer. So I took back my check and tore it up. Good thing I wasn't having a heart attack or worse. So if you go make sure you have a credit card!!! I had to go elsewhere even further away (had already traveled 45 minutes). Disappointed!

Listen to the patient. Don’t assume all minorities are low income and uneducated.

My most recent experience with my son was horrible. The employee who worked on stitching up my son’s finger did not fix it properly nor did they take an X-ray. A week later he had to be rushed to the hospital where VCU doctors said his finger was fractured and they had to open his finger which was infected and fix it. I will never return to BetterMed and will highly discourage people I know to go there. When I receive the bill from VCU I should send it to Better Med!

Totally misdiagnosed my son with allergies and a sinus infection. He had strep and a severe ear infection. Even asked the doctor to do a strep test and she told me no, strep and congestion don’t go together. Ended up having to go to my son’s pediatrician for a correct diagnosis and to the ENT twice, since his ear infection got so much worse due to the misdiagnosis.

They send me home with painkillers, didn't even try to find out the problem. And I end up the same night in emergency room for surgery for appendicitis. Not happy with their service.

Totally missed a major sinus infection

Really just an awful experience. I went to the colonial heights location for back pain the day after my car accident. They did not inform me that with only one provider I would not be seen for 4 HOURS. I was totally miserable the entire time and didn’t leave because I thought “it couldn’t be that much longer”. Staff was inconsiderate and communication was just terrible. So very disappointing.

I went to BetterMed on two occasions and I was missed diagnosed both times. Very disappointing!
