My most recent experience at Better Med was very good. The wait time was next to nothing. As soon as I was placed in the examining room, the nurse came in for my vitals and update on medications and reason for visit. Everyone was very courteous. I only gave a 4-star because after I had signed in at the kiosk, as I turned to sit down I noticed one of the clerical staff (receptionist) in the front area, where everyone coming in the door could see, she was slumped down/laid back in her chair as if she were asleep. Not very professional at all. I have never been in this location and seen such a site. Actually, I have never been in any physician's office where a receptionist was laid back in this way.

In general I got good care. In the specific, 1 thing was missed that may have helped. I went in with a complaint of frequent urination. The primary care giver never palpated my lower abdomin. That might have made a difference. Everything else was done well with good followup with test results and modification of treatment. The registration was quick and I was seen promptly. The procedures proposed were explained well and the reason for them was explained well. I got the call for the results of one test on Sunday, just tree days after my visit. Overall, I would recommend.

When doctors prescribe strong antibiotics, they should also give you probiotics, and even a vaginal yeast insert, because antibiotics mess up your system. All I was told was I might get a stomach ache. It is worse than that, and other doctors have provided the supplements, I remembered.

As the 2nd person to be called into an office, the whole process took 45 minutes before I was seen. The diagnosis was quick and correct. Bettermed MUST DO SOMETHING with the ridiculous patient entry station. The split keyboard on the screen is just confusing. As a repeat patient, rather than entering all fields, your database should ask to confirm patient info after entry of certain info without compromising sensitive information. GET RID OF THAT SCREEN.

I just needed a COVID rapid test. The process seemed unnecessarily complicated. I had to give an interview and have an exam. Took about an hour and a half. I got the feeling that it was related to E/M billing. CVS just tests you and you're in and out much faster. You could probably test three times as many patients in that time. There may be a better use of your NP's time if these tests could be streamlined and relegated to an RN.

The staff was very friendly. It was just about a 20-30 minute wait in my car after my appointment time before getting a call to come inside the building. Thought it was a little strange to go into one room, get tested for Covid, then go to another to do the rest of the exam and wait for results.

The medical care was thorough and excellent. I did not have an appointment and the sign in procedure on the tablet by the door was frustrating. The app was not very user friendly and it was difficult to complete with an injured hand.

The NP could have given me antibiotics, but didn't, so I suffered 3 days until I went to my PC. Very nice place,very efficient.
