They were slow and didn't know how to use their systems even though I was the only person there. But I can deal with that. The stitches on my arm (5 total) they gave me were completely disorganized there were huge gaps between some stitches and others super close. One of the stitches had 8. Yes, 8 overhand knots. It looked like I had a braid of hair coming off my arm or a 3 year old that tied their shoe for the first time. The stitches were also not tight and one fell out within 24hrs. I made sure not to come back and just removed them on my own 10 days later. Please avoid. I do not have medical training and I could do a better job. I've had plenty of stitches from when I was younger and just glad I didn't bring my kid here. Man, healthcare has gone to fast food level of service and quality. I pray it's another 10 years again before I need any care. Edit: This was for the Charlotte Location on South Blvd.

Billing system is horrible I will never go again and tell anyone who asks about my experience. Once they have your card they got you. I have insurance and payed 167$ for a visit to look at me. Literally

BetterMed doesn't consider your insurance plan when they give you prescriptions or recommendations to specialists. Be diligent and do research on what they recommend and if it's in your network or not.

I went to BetterMed for urgent care on a Sunday. The receptionist took my insurance card asked me a few questions and then put in my appointment. I was seen by a doctor and had x-rays only to find out that BetterMed does not take my insurance provider, Virginia premier. I should have been told that when I checked in but I wasn’t and now I have a bill for $315. I got superior care and the doctors and nurses were top notch. The reason for the mixup that I was given by BetterMed was that the receptionist was new and made a mistake. Needless to say I’m not very happy and I would not of gone through with the appointment if I knew upfront that this provider was out of my network. This should not happen with computers telling us what insurance is accepted and what is not.

This place is horrible will go to patient first from now on!

This is the second review I’ve done, I'm not going to rehash the first one, considering I checked the box to have someone contact me in reference to my experience and its been almost a month and I have not received any contact. I will never visit this facility again. Poor customer experience that day and further proof by no contact that they don’t really care.
