I went to a newly opened BetterMed in my neighborhood. It was late Friday evening after I came home from work and I had a terrible cold, so I thought, but it was an upper respiratory infection. The treatment I received from when I walked in and when I left was excellent. However, before I agreed to any service I asked if they took my insurance. Mind you I had BCBS Healthkeepers. I was told Yes and paid my $50 copay. To my shock, a month later I received a bill from BetterMed stating that they don't accept my insurance and I owe $325! Dont know who to me mad at most, my insurance or BetterMed. Still trying to work it out. But the service I received from the doctor and nurses was great.

Excellent PA and nurses but care was very expensive.

They were not thorough and missed some other problems with their diagnosis.

My experience was good but do not like that they take your credit card number and explained that up to 500 additional dollars maybe taken in the future from your account. No idea how or when that Expires.

We didn’t see a dr but a physicians assistant. Talked for 10 seconds and wrote a prescription for steroids. He was nice but it felt irresponsible and expensive for the time actually spent with the patient. Where is the physician??

No one there I was taken back quickly but staff were not that friendly it may be because it was near time to go home.

Some providers are better than others

Honestly, I was not able to donate blood simply because the staff was not ready by my appointment time. I waited approximately 30 minutes and they still had not started the donation process. I was the first appointment of the day.
