I've been going here for over a year, even taking my son because it's easier for me than seeing my PCP. However, Shaquaysha at the front desk is extremely rude! She even got an attitude and said, "Somebody in a bad mood today," when I couldn't understand her mumbled question underneath her mask and fluid in my ears. Then when I started talking she WALKED AWAY while I was speaking directly to her! When they took my vitals my heart rate was high simply because of how much Shaquaysha was rude! Thankfully this incident happened before I started using BetterMed for our company’s occupational health. There are plenty of other places to go without being treated like that. I will not be going back, ever.

Take copay, charge insurance, then send patients away to seek care elsewhere.

The nurse practitioner who saw me for a sinus infection was fine, but I told her if the antibiotic she prescribed didn't work, could I call and get a new antibiotic prescribed. I said this to her around 3 times, at least, and she said yes, you can call. So the office, and how this BetterMed in Fredericksburg on Plan Road operates, is what is getting the one-star. The meds didn't work, and I was suffering worse than when I started, but it was impossible to speak to anyone at the office. They either didn't answer the phone, or when I got a message through to them through a main office for BetterMed, they never called me. I was ignored, and this is my health we are talking about. I do not therefore consider them a viable place to go when you are sick. Find somewhere else.

The pain cream given did not work…My son was taken to ER within 4 hrs of treatment and the boil was lance and drained.. This was after the staff at Bettter Med said it was not ready to be lanced. Very painful experience for my son. Also costly as I had to pay additional fees for ER VISIT.

PCR covid test 250$ was horrible!

I actually had a good experience being seen here but they charged my card on file 319.12 without letting me know or giving me a chance to arrange a payment plan. I then called and was told they emailed it to me, I explained that I never recieved the email and now I was not going to be able to make my rent payment. I was pretty much told because they emailed me they would not do anything to help me. I was so upset for the way this was handled. Now a days not everyone can have 300.00 come out of their account without notice.

When you go to urgent care facility expect to see a doctor you don’t go there to see a doctors assistant but every time I go I always end up with a doctor assistant
