The nurse was very kind and friendly but other than that, really bad experience. Doctor barely checked me and ignored information about fever and temperature caused by infection, so she didn't give me an antibiotic. Two days later I finished with pneumonia caused by non treated esophagus infection. Waste time and money.

The medical procedure itself was 5 stars, but the admin piece was 1 Star. I was almost charged ~$500 because my insurance number was not “verified.” Your office made zero attempts to call me about this or contact my insurance company about it until I called multiple times (and was treated like I was being super rude the whole time when I was just asking what my insurance member ID not being “verified” meant because my insurance company the day beforehand had not mentioned anything about that when I called about this charge and said this claim hadn’t even been filed with them yet by your office). I would definitely recommend your office’s rapid testing as it is an amazing resource to have in VA and I otherwise had a great experience— but the fact remains that if I hadn’t noticed an automated email saying I would be charged ~$500 automatically within 5 days, I would have had to contest the charge through my insurance company etc. which would have been a huge headache and frankly could totally decimate someone financially during COVID.

Worse customer service in the area!

Literally, the phlebotomist drew my blood without putting on a mask. Said she forgot. Even then did not put one one. Absolutely shocked.

For a scheduled Covid test, BetterMed made me wait 37 minutes past the appointment time only to tell me that I could not be tested for Covid because I only had cash and did not possess my credit card, even though the test was free. I recommend no one ever go to BetterMed, and instead use either PatientFirst or CVS MinuteClinic. I arrived to the Regency BetterMed 10 minutes early for my 9am appt 9/3/20, for my pre-scheduled Covid test. I was the only one in the parking lot, I called the number, option 2. No answer. Waited 10 minutes. Called again. No answer. Called again. Was disconnected immediately. Walked inside. She said go back to the car. Waited 20 more minutes. 9:20, called again. She said she'd be with me shortly. She finally called me at 9:37. Took my insurance information. Told me it was a free test, but she needed my credit card number. I told her I did not have my card with me, how much cash does she need for this free test. She said she could not do the Covid test without getting my credit card, to be used on "future" visits. She canceled my appointment, and I left without service. I'll never go to any BetterMed again for any reason. Dealing with BetterMed May Be Worse Than Getting Covid-19

The medical staff was great. Five stars. The receptionist was rude, noxious and unwelcoming. I had my son with me because he was driving me and she told us "We don't clean those rooms - do you want to catch COVID?"

I have left two messages for the billing team and gotten no response.
