Came in for a head cold and lower back pain. The physician came in checked my lungs and breathing. Said I needed a breathing treatment, they gave me a breathing treatment, prescribed me an inhaler, advised if I got worse go to ER. The very next morning I woke up and could hardly breathe, went to the ER and they admitted (in hospital for 3 days) the doctors said I should have been prescribed more than just inhaler with obvious signs of wheezing and being diagnosed with bronchitis from there. Never had and experience like that before. Normally I get a steroid, antibiotic and cough suppressant. Not this time.... the breathing treatment opened up my lungs and I ended up in the hospital for 3 days

The doctor that saw me never once examined me and his main statement to me was, “you are not 25 anymore.” I do not see where i received any professional help.

The PA seemed condescending and refused to write me a work note for the two days that I was at home and incredibly sick. Obviously I would have come to be seen earlier if I was able to drive myself. Not a good experience. I'm an Emegency Room nurse and would never have an issue with providing a sick note.

Came in at the end of the day on a holiday and was told by the NP I needed to go to the ER instead due to my serious symptoms and lack of proper testing available at Better Med. I felt the NP was reprimanding me for being there. I drove myself and there was little concern for my welfare leaving. As I see it, I paid my co-pay for nothing.

The doctor did not test for flu when my son reported his symptoms and had to go 4 days later to his pediatrician. Tested positive for Flu B. It was too late for Tamiflu since he was over the time limit for using. I wont be back.

Went a couple of weeks ago and had great service with a male NP. Tonight, I called because I have had the flu for 3 days and feel like crap (and I work in the medical field) I called to see if they do IV for illnesses as I called ahead so I didn't waste my time or money. Was spoken to like I was a drug seeker - for vomit medication really? I went in wasted my 35 co-pay and told oh you are fine I can give you a suppository for your sickness. Well, I just drove my a$$ over to the ER by them and told them exactly what happened. Been sick for 3 days, can't keep water down, feel like crap I went to Best Meds showed them the check out sheet and they just shake their head. So, they give me IV meds and fluids to help me get over the hump. So, don't waste your time here. The er visit is going pretty quick - I am waiting to check out now so maybe like an hour compared to 20 mins. I am going to call insurance and ask them if there is a way to dispute the charges considering I just went across the street to get the treatment I need. Don't do it - go somewhere else.

Cost! Extremely expense for a 5 min consult. Doctor was nice but only looked at issue and was gone in 5 min and was charged close to 400.00 for a visit.

The PA and nurse diagnosed me with shingles and swabbed the site for verification. They said results usually take 3-5 days. It took 3 full weeks! And now the report says no shingles.
