We went to BetterMed for Covid 19 tests. The person who checked us in failed to enter our Medicare cards (which we had sent in as requested on making the appointment) so we were charged the full $266 each for the test. No one even questioned filing only the supplement and not the Medicare accounts. Shaneka in Billing as very pleasant and fixed our accounts but had no explanation for the original problem.

Made my covid 19 appointment per their appointment set up page. Set it for 4:30 get there 4:15 and call the number. After being on hold for nearly 10 minutes I'm told that I'm late and the appointment was set for 1130am. I never would have picked that time as i don't get off until 4:00pm. Get put on hold again after being told i might be able to get in there sometime that evening. Hello I'm sitting in your parking lot. My time to them might not be a big deal but it is to me especially after working 10 hours! They never sent an email or called of an appointment time change. I'll try walgreens or patient first but I'll never go to that location again!

When we got to site called to let them know we were in the parking lot. We’re told someone from registration would call us back to finish registering prior to coming into the building. Waited in our car for over an hour finally called back person who answered the phone never gave registration the message we were in the parking lot.

Service is good as far as doctor. But billing is a nightmare. I tried on many occasions to get a person to call me back. I wanted to let them know the card they had on file was invalid. I ran that card a long time ago and they kept it on file. I wanted to give them new card information. But they sent me an email saying the card was invalid. No kidding it was! I was trying to tell them all along. I hope I don’t get a service charge for the invalid card. I guess I’ll have to wait and see when they send me a paper bill. I still haven’t gotten a call back from billing despite the many detailed messages I’ve left.

Extremely disappointed by Bettermed service, Staff is very irresponsible and lack information. No respect for time. They change their turn around time from 2-5 days to 7 business day for test when we arrived for appointment. Had to wait for more than 2 hrs for test to be done. Could not provide letter of proof that we took PCR test. My mom took covid Pcr test for travel purpose and they changed gender on test report, due to which she (senior citizen, travelling alone, with hypertension) has to undergo extreme inconveniences at airport and stuck at airport for long hours.

I had a scheduled appt. and it took 30mins. for someone to call me back to confirm I was at the facility. Then waited another 20mins to tell me I could come in. While I was inside I was told test should be about 15 min wait for rapid test. I was in there for another 35 mins. I'm not sure why if you have a scheduled appt. it took this long??

I was charged for the Covid test visit even though my insurance covers for it.
