This location continued to ask more and more people to sit in the waiting room in the middle of a pandemic... when I got there I was alone, about 30 minutes after my appointment (non-COVID related) was supposed to start and they hadn’t even checked me in was when more people started to trickle in. After about 4 more people joined me in the wait room before I asked if I could wait in my car. The person at the front desk acted like I was overreacting, but agreed and I continued to wait another 30 minutes before being called to check in. In the 30 minutes in my car I watched as it grew to about 10-15 people in the waiting area inside... Once I was finally seen the medical staff was great!

Arrived promptly for scheduled visit 10 minutes prior to schedules appointment as prompted by online scheduling request. Called number from parking lot as requested twice without receiving answer. Waited in reception area for 25 minutes with other patients. Once checked in... receptionist put me in an examination room, told me that someone would be with be and shut the door. After waiting 45 minutes for someone from the medical team to assist I opened the door to find no one to assist. After walking around I found someone to inquire about my appointment or to see if I needed to reschedule. Within 5 minutes a RUSHED technician arrived to complete the 10 second swab. For a scheduled rapid test I found the office and the medical personnel unacceptable and unprofessional. My primary physician had recommended this facility. After my experience I have shared my experience as I have never seen a medical facility managed so poorly and one that puts their patients at high risk based on their poor management.

Very bad customer service

Came in with an abrasion on my cornea...the NP came in asked a few questions looked at my eye and said I had a stye. Which I don’t...I have a skin tag at the place she said the stye was, which doesn’t touch my eye at all. She prescribed some eye ointment and sent me on my way. The pain didn’t get any better so I went to my PCP the next day, which they determined that I did in fact have a scratch on my cornea. I think your providers should listen to their patients and not corral them in and out to make a buck. I’m sure you will charge my insurance company the maximum amount you can charge, which will probably cost me my first born and then some.

I went to BetterMed Urgent Care for a COVID test (20 minute results version) because of mild cold symptoms. The test was positive, I did my quarantine and I'm fine. What I found astounding is that the PA who came into my room to report the positive test did not on her own initiative offer any information on how I should respond to the positive test results. No written informational materials. No verbal information until I started asking questions. She didn't even mention quarantine until I asked what I should do next. My sense was the PA just wanted me out of the building as fast as possible. That's understandable I guess, but given the pandemic I was amazed that there was no effort or information designed to help me make sure I did the right things to protect myself and not to infect others.

I had a rapid COVID test. I actually had a nurse tell me that she isn’t going to live in fear about COVID, that when it’s her turn to die, she’ll die. And that people should relax. It is NOT a nurse’s job to tell a patient that COVID isn’t something to be concerned about. And the faulty logic is unbelievable! I wonder if she locked her door before she left home. Did she wear a seatbelt to work? Did she advise her kids not to get into a car with a stranger? Her “logic” would say “no” because if it’s her time, the cautionary actions would be useless. However, I bet she did all those things. NOT professional at all.

The MA asked if I wanted a flu and/or strep test before the clinician had even seen me to determine if that was clinically warranted. The clinician came into the room, asked one question and listened to my lungs before ordering an X-ray. In total the clinician spoke about 3 sentences to me in our approximately 90 second interaction then I was prescribed 4 meds and sent home where I proceeded to get much worse.

With an appointment I waited an hour and 40 minutes to see a PA who prescribed me the same thing that I had been prescribed twice that hasn't worked.
