Manipulating charges is not the way to…
Manipulating charges is not the way to help the community. Your help and free testing is needed. With or without insurance, please find a way. Thank you

Thank you for your comment. I understand your frustration. There has been talk about COVID testing being free, but there has been no direction from the Federal or State government about how this is going to happen and they are not able to test at the level that needs to happen in order to open the economy back up. We are a small business and in order to operate our facilities and pay our hard working employees who put themselves at risk everyday during this crisis, we must charge an evaluation fee. We also believe that it is the medically prudent thing to do and we have helped many people get critically needed immediate care by doing so. Thanks again for your feedback and stay well.

The staff in the back were wonderful
The staff in the back were wonderful. The person at the front desk was rude & very disrespectful

Very insensitive staff
Very insensitive staff. One nurse in particular criticized me for shouting out when she pressed her hand on my severe injury and told me to "chill out." It was an odd experience in other ways as well.

Front desk "nurse" very unwelcoming
Front desk "nurse" very unwelcoming. No personality at all. Dr. was fine. BetterMed auto charged me $75 - claimed it was my copay. However, BetterMed claims the visit as "emergency services" to get a higher fee. NexCare files as a regular Dr. appointment; as such, my copay is lower ($10). Will not visit again.

The location didn't matter!
Your customer service is not good at all. I tired to call to speak to staff, I got cut out on many of times. I was charge a co-payment when I told them my insurance Athem was paying for the payment they was not listening to me at all. I refused to come back to Better Med at all for any treatment for me or my child. Please treat patients better you will keep them around more!

I was billed for my COVID19 test when…
I was billed for my COVID19 test when it was supposed to be free. In no was that stated or made clear at the time of service or else I would not have tested at the facility. Additionally, results were supposed to be returned in 5 business days and they were not returned for 7 business days.

Poor patient service
I reserved an appointment at 10:30 am 5 days ahead of time. I got there at exactly 10:30. We were greated and told that they would notify reception that I was there. Another car pulled up was tested and left. Again they asked my name and said they would notify reception that I was there. After a 20 min wait and still no phone call phone call, I left untested. It is now 11:30 and there has been no call to even ask for a return. They were not changing gloves between patients either.This place ABSOLUTELY does not have their crap together. I will schedule an appointment at Patient First where they care about their patients and their patients time.

Our patient and staff safety is always our highest priority and we make every effort to keep sanitation top of mind. The "front line" staff wears two sets of gloves, so they can remove pairs in between patients. We take your feedback very seriously and will be sharing your comments with our management team.
