i had something wrong with my foot and they did xrays but that’s really it but told me nothing was wrong. they really didn’t have an answer for me i was in so much pain so i went to ortho va and found out i had a broken foot this whole time . i do love the staff at better med but i wish i was able to get my foot taken care of. and i wish they had looked into it more .

Non Insured patients that pay up front with a debit card, for a visit should be able to learn if more payment is required before leaving. As no insurance approval is needed. I was not comfortable leaving my card on file, as well as giving my social security number.. in this case I did not offer this information. This all of course was handled by the front desk. The care I received with the provider we quick and Pleasant. I did have to ask the person taking me back to my exam room If this was a non-CoVid room. As the person before me was receiving a CoVid test.

I was very disappointed in the Dr. that I had. I came in to get an x-ray On my left foot which had been injured from a wheel chair tip over wheels two weeks prior. My foot was swelling and in a lot of pain. The Dr. barely touched my foot and wanted an X-ray. I told him I had been icing it for the swelling but it was not getting any better. X-Ray Showed no broken bones. He told me to go home and ice it and take Tylenol. He showed no concern for my pain or offered any empathy. He was not dressed professionally nor did he Seem professional. He looked as though he had just woke up and came to work. At this point I do not wish to go back there. A waste of time and money.

I was in and out quickly which I appreciated as I had to rush home for homeschool. However, I don't feel like my pain was taken seriously. To say it's "muscle spasms", when they clearly were not. Give me meds that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Ran behind me after leaving room to say " Could be stones!" I left and made appt with urologist as I've had stone issues before. Clearly they did not review my previous history or surgeries.

The insurance intake took 45 minutes and my test dates were entered incorrect. Nursing care was good but the clerical lacked.

Workers shouted the results of my test so loudly I could hear them through the wall and I could hear them announce the tests of others. Poor customer service

Getting scheduled and testing process was great. Results ready in 2 days. Got the call with results. Returned the call. Young lady paused for a moment after I Gave her my info. She said please wait a moment. Thoughts go raising through your head. . Held for 15 minutes. Called back 5 times. No answer . Finally decided to check on line to see if results were posted. They were and thankfully was negative.

I gave the tester a number for the results to be faxed. She said they cannot fax results, which caused me to make calls to the facility to figure out another way, which took two more calls. When the nurse came in with the results, I commented that I couldn't believe they couldn't fax the results! She very nicely said that of course they can fax them and she did! It just made the process much more stressful than it needed to be! Otherwise it went very smoothly and hopefully now it won't happen to anyone else.
