We were asked to e-mail our driver licenses and insurance cards ahead of time, which we did a couple of days before our appointment. When we arrived they did not find them. Also when we phoned to get our results, we got always the messages that mail box was full. The people on the premises were very friendly.

Poor customer service.

I had an appointment and per the email I was to wait in my car and call letting them know I was there. I got there a few minutes early and called but nobody answered. I kept calling and no answer so I decided to walk in because I did not want them to say I did not show up and miss my appointment. When I walked in nobody was at the desk and after a minute the receptionist showed up. She immediately got attitude because I walked in, I explained that nobody answered the phone and she said they also had urgent care going on and told me to go back to my car and they would call me but wouldn't take my name. I went to my car and called again and they answered told me to go to exam 2, which I did but somebody was already in there. They had me wait in the waiting room anyway and finally called me back. The first nurse missed when she tried to draw blood, then she called another nurse who also missed on my other arm and finally drew blood from my hand which left a huge bruise. I was there for over an hour and the room was freezing, they even said that room was also freezing. I will say both nurses were very nice.

The staff was very friendly but did not honor my appointment time. I arrived early as requested to do paperwork but did not get called in to my appointment until an hour later.

I went in for a COVID test and was informed that they would not help me at all with payment plans or with filing through the Covid fund in order to pay. I still have not received a call from them even though they said they would get back in contact with me. They also were very inaccurate on the phone about test times. I was told one thing and it was very different when I got into my appointment. The doctors and nurses during my appointment were great but billing and the front desk were unhelpful and unknowledgeable.

The front staff and the person who checked me in and did my COVID test were amazing, (Brad Greene), but the provider, Leslie Kellie, was again unpleasant and very rude. When I informed her that I would prefer my prescription be for an antibiotic to be sent to the pharmacy (she wanted to place a 5 day hold on it), I politely asked her to please send it. She did not agree with this and got so upset that when she walked out of the exam room she slammed the door so hard that it popped back open. This made me feel very uncomfortable, and I tried to give Better Med a second chance after having a HORRIBLE experience with this same provider about a month ago, and I will NEVER come back. I think BetterMed needs to do a better job when hiring providers.

I was disappointed in the safety practices of the nursing staff at Better Med. I had to have a blood draw and the nurse popped a finger on her glove claiming she can’t feel anything with gloves on. She then proceeded to take off her mask claiming she can’t see with a mask on. This left me feeling very uneasy during covid times as we were in very close contact of each other. When I left she was sitting at the nurses station completely unmasked with many staff members close to her as well.

I had an appointment for unexplainable bruising on abdomen , Nurse did vitals , provider came in and looked at my bruise and sent me to ER. I recevied a $96 bill for this. which I paid.
