Even with the increase in patients waiting to be tested for Covid-19, I was still able to get an appointment within 12 hours. The attending PA was thorough, and gave a very clear and understandable explanation as to my medical condition. It was a very positive experience. There was even a follow-up call from BetterMed the next day. I have not been a strong advocate of the “doc in a box” philosophy, but this experience changed my mind. It felt more like going to a family doctor; caring and close to home.

I went for a issue I was having and asked for it to get checked. To my family, it was nothing, to me, I wanted to make sure and have piece of mind. The MA and Doctor both treated me with kindness and seriousness. They did an xray and everything came back good. The doctor gave me some things to do to help the issue heal and told me to follow up with my regular GP if it doesn't heal soon. I wasn't treated as if I was wasting their time and received great care. This is why I come to BetterMed.

I had a very good experience at BetterMed in Ashland, Virginia. Everyone was very polite and attentive. The waiting room and exam room were clean and tidy. There was not hardly any wait to be seen. I would recommend BetterMed for your health issues.
