I strongly advise avoiding TheBestTicketFares at all costs. I booked flights for my family of six and paid £2,601.20 in full. After taking my money, a representative (Imran) called to say the seats I had paid for were "unavailable." Instead of automatically refunding me, they tried to force me onto a completely different flight from a different airport, demanding an extra £1,800. When I refused to pay the extortionate surcharge and simply asked for a refund, the representative became incredibly aggressive. I was told that if I didn't pay the extra money, I would forfeit my original £2,601.20 completely. The representative also resorted to unacceptable personal and discriminatory comments during the call. They appear to advertise cheap prices on search engines (Jetcost) to get your payment details, only to hold your money hostage while demanding massive hidden surcharges. I have reported them to Trading Standards and am retrieving my money via my bank. Do not risk your money or your holiday plan with this company.

Caution! Fraud website! They do not forward the money to the airline, and the ticket gets automatically cancelled. Then they claim that the flights were overbooked, even though you can still book them everywhere else.

Obviously a scam. Doesn't redirect to airline websites.

Wish I could give no stars … paid 1700 for flights to Phuket but no flights no boarding pass just them calling saying the price went up and I had to pay more another 1200 more or lose my money .. they are refusing a refund I’m starting legal proceedings

Deceptive practices!! Wish I read the reviews first!! Booked a ticket to Reno from Seattle last night and paid $123 and thought I got a great price, through comparison shopping online website cheap tickets. The next morning I see in my email BestTicketFare wants me to call in about my paid ticket to let me know that price is not for the date I selected but for 10 days later. I had taken a picture of my confirmation #, date of travel, where to and from where which clearly specified the date I selected and needed. They LURE people to pay the lower price which is VERY DECEPTIVE and then email and call to tell you cannot travel for that price on the date you need to travel. I ended up paying $241 for a one way ticket to Reno and saw that I could have booked my own ticket on Southwest for $198 myself. I told the agent on the phone I could see they over charged me by $40. Their response was because I could not travel a different date for the lower price l originally paid which was also non-refundable, it was their courtesy to change my ticket to a Southwest flight from United airlines and paying all the transfer fees. I will never again go through cheap tickets which is also BestTicketFare! Despicable and Deceptive!!

BestTicketFare uses deceptive practices to force use of their "service" and threatens additional fees to coerce use of their "service" The "NOTE" that the purchase may be changed is located in a location that does not appear when you are choosing the flight Customer Service rep is "nice" but does not provide the flights desired. The flight choosen was changed to a month out. NOT acceptable

They are scamming people of their money. Bad for business. They booked me a flight for $1100 dollars then a few days after they called and say that the airline cancelled the flight and if I wanted that same flight, I would have to pay additional money. I told them to return my money, they said there is no refund. I had to pay them USD 2598.99. dollars for the same flight I booked before. This company flies as close to bait and switch tactics as it can and still be on the right side of the law. I booked a flight based on my needed dates and times and was pleased the price advertised was a reasonable bargain. An hour later, I was told the flight only had flying standby available, but if I was willing to pay another $130 or so, they could provide me with a "guaranteed" seat. When I demanded a refund, the representative kept telling me the airline already had my money and I needed to pay the extra to not lose the money I had already charged to a credit card. I refused, and kept refusing, backing my argument up with the fact that the seat was never available at the advertised price to begin with. I got off the phone and immediately called my credit card company. Bestticketfare.com had not put the charge through so I canceled the card. It was unbelievable and I can't say strongly enough, do not use this company to book what seem like bargain flights. Scam, scam, scam but they wrote the small print just well enough to apparently stay in business.
