We ordered a custom piece. The sales rep provided us with a CAD drawing and then we ordered through the website after a pre-set appointment. Christmas sales were very appealing. I’m noticing those types of sales are fairly common. Not just for the holidays. When my shipment arrived, the ring was to my liking and beautiful, but was not measuring to the exact specifications of the CAD drawing. Pretty far off, actually. I wish I had known that ahead of time. We ended up sending the ring back and requesting an upgraded diamond. We purchased a full carat larger. The drawing showed the main diamond at 2.9 carats. the ring I received was only 2.1 carats! So make sure you know the exact size of the diamond you are receiving before going to production. We waited an additional month because they had to start over with a new setting due to the size difference of the main diamond. Overall, I got a great product for a great price. I’m thrilled with the finished product. Their chat feature and email response times were a bit slow. Also, the appointment for discussing design was a must! We would not have been able to talk it all through sufficiently without an appointment. The quality of the packaging and presentation was really nice! They provided the GIA certificate in the same packaging with the ring. I do feel I got a very quality piece for the money. I did wait for production longer than I originally planned, but the finished product was absolutely perfect for me. Online sales can be a scary venture. Just ask all the questions to feel comfortable if creating a custom design.
