SCAM! Do not buy from this company. The rug was advertised in AUD with a 30% discount. Not only was I not given the discount, I was then charged in USD, so nearly $600 overcharged. I tried to cancel the rug, they refused. When it arrived, it was wet and smelled like urine. It was tattered and there were sharp shards of plastic between the fibers. I tried to return it but they refused to pay for shipping despite this being something they guarantee on their site. And of course, the catch 22, I can't get a refund and the bank can't reverse the charge until I return the rug and...you guessed it...shipping costs more than the rug is worth, so there's no point sending it back and they get away with it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP

SCAM, I’ve ordered a large rug in November and paid thousands of dollars but never received anything. After multiple emails with support (only way to communicate with them), they stopped answering my messages. I’ve sent a cordial email every month to get a status update after the promised “7-8 week shipping”, but they were never able to give me a straight answer on what was going in with my order. Meanwhile they still advertise “7-8 week shipping” on their website for the same item, but 18 weeks later, no rug has shipped.

I ordered what was described as a floor pillow from Benisouk. The photographs on the website show exactly that - a large, fully stuffed, pillow. The cost was $198, so not inexpensive. Several days later I received a pillow COVER. No pillow. I emailed the company asking where the pillow was and they responded "our website clearly states that the 'insert' is not included." A pillow cover is not a pillow under any definition of the word. Putting a disclaimer about a "liner" buried in the "details" section of the website is extremely misleading. I emailed them stating that they should change their description and they said "many of our customers are happy." Just looking at similar complaints on this website, I'd have to disagree. Avoid.

Floor cushions came without the actual cushion insert. They shipped just the cover. If that is the product they are sellining then the product description online should read "floor pillow cushion cover". This is completely deceptive product advertising. Definitely not worth the price. I also now have the added schlepp (and expense) of having to find an upholstery shop that can make a custom insert for this. Not what i expected from a $220 floor cushion purchase.

I ordered two floor cushion covers at a cost of £160 each - they looked lovely on the website and exactly what I have been looking for. They were delivered pretty quickly but poorly packaged. One arrived in a really dreadful condition - large dirty marks and stains in several places, the wool compacted, lots of the looped thread loose, as if it had already been used heavily. I have contacted for return and have received one email telling me to send it to an address in New York. I’m based in the UK. There is no return form, I am expected to foot the (hefty) return postage bill for an item that was sent and received in a faulty and damaged condition. I have sent follow up emails to get some more information about the return process - do I need a return form, customs paperwork etc. and will they refund or pay the return postage and am receiving no response. Very frustrating. Obviously I am reluctant to send £160 worth of products off to the US with no assurance

Ordered a custom rug on August 31 and got emails along the way letting me know the status of the rug. The rug was 'weaved washed and ready to ship' on Oct 21. When I was still waiting for my rug in mid November having never received an update, I emailed them to check on the status. I received a prompt email on Nov 12 that let me know that my rug will arrive soon. When I still hadn't received an update by Dec 6, I wrote an email asking for an update again, they apologized and said it was for 'reasons out of their control'. I pressed for a more specific timeline and on Dec 11 I was told that the rug will arrive in 2 weeks and that it will ship as soon as it is on their premises. When I hadn't had an update by Jan 4, I contacted them yet again and they informed me that my rug didn't arrive as expected due to 'meteorological complications' (actual language used). My major issue with custom rugs from Benisouk is that I had to chase down the updates on an $1140 rug. And of course that I'll probably never receive said rug. TLDR: Don't order a custom rug from Benisouk if you actually want to receive said rug.

Udaste I received my rug on 31st December and was so looking forward to laying it on my floor but now I want to return it for a refund. I wanted to support artisan weavers in Morocco as I have visited the country several times, and bought rugs there. As a textile specialist I am aware of the quality of wool fibres, weaving and tufting and the reviews on the site are great. But my rug is very poor quality, the end fringing is uncut and made of strange fibres, the tufting is uneven and the wool different ragged lengths. It says 100% wool on website but the neon coloured fibres are manmade - I've tested one. The website says 'Our greatest success is your total satisfaction! You can return your items within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund. You will receive in your package all the instructions to facilitate your return.' THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS, NO ADDRESS, NO TELEPHONE NUMBER AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING TO EMAILS. I hope Trustpilot is a way to get the company to respond to me so I can send this poor quality product costing 620$ back. Update - Customers have to pay to return products. My research shows courier will cost 200$ UPDATE FEB 17TH This company is insisting that I spend a further 200$ to send back a rug that I would pay a maximum of 70$ to buy in the condition it was sent to me. I am waiting for them to reply to my email and send me a return label. It is not fair to sell customers such shabby goods that do not meet the specification or quality shown on their colourful website.UPDATE MARCH 8TH Benisouk has persuaded my credit card company that they are dealing with me. They told me I didn't return carpet within 14 days. The carpet came from Morocco - they wanted it RETURNED to USA to a company with a telephone number that would not connect. Would you deal with a company that operated like this? #Raginabag My rug was packed for return - what can I do with it now?
