Really happy with the rug

Purchased one of the moroccan poufs and received in on the 21st October. Came folded small in a plastic bag. Really smelled of dead goat on opening which lasted for almost 5 weeks but has now almost gone. I have noticed today that some stitching on the centre piece has come out. I can only assume the stitching has not been finished/tied off sufficiently. Very disappointing after only just over 5 weeks of use. We no longer have children at home and hasnt had any rigorous treatment. It is used as a foot rest by my husband. It was not a cheap purchase, £100, and I have seen others which are considerably less from reputable UK shops. I chose fo buy from Benisouk as I liked the fact they used and supported local moroccan artisans. However I now wish I had bought more locally as I would return it expecting a replacement. Benisouk are shipped from the US. Update 2/12/20 After placing this review I received a call from the director of Benisouk customer service to discuss my disappointment with the pouf. I was extremely pleased to hear that reviews were read and followed up and acted upon. They guaranteed their items were chosen carefully for the quality of work to ensure customer satisfaction. The pouf will be replaced and I will not hesitate to buy from Benisouk again. As payment was in US$ and the company address Florida I wrongly assumed the delivery was from the US. The distribution centre is Morocco.

Love my rug! So soft and great quality.
