Love my new rug. Looks better in person then it did online!

UPDATE: We have received the rug and so far we love how it looks and feels. It took 6 months but it arrived, very close to the picture that we saw online and fits well in our home. To attest quality I'll need to wait a couple of weeks. I ordered a custom rug in December and I not only haven't received but I also have no assurance or clear expectations when to receive. Benisouk communication is poor at best and I'm seriously concerned that I have lost the money I paid. My wife and I love the Atlas mountains and we were looking forward to receiving this rug and likely purchasing more but Benisouk is proving to be unreliable if not shady. Update, our rug has arrived in the USA and we are expecting to receive second week of July because we are away from home. I'll do a third update when we receive the rug

We love our new rug. It is gorgeously thick, soft and warm - fantastic quality. It is a bespoke size so fits perfectly in our room - we couldn't have got this with an off the shelf rug. We have rated 4 rather than 5 stars because the colour of our rug is a bit different to expected. Still very nice, but not exactly as ordered, so that is worth bearing in mind.

This is my second rug from benisouk. I love both of them so much and the service has been great. The only reason the review is 4 and not 5 is that the second rug does not sit right as its tighter on one side than the other. That said it is absolutely gorgeous and I am hoping it is good over time:)

Carpet I got was super detailed and cultural but When It came to my house packaging was not so good. It could get lost in the road if a little piece of paper was torn of by mistake

I bought a rug which arrived very quickly, it looks good and it seems like good quality so far but there is a bit of the embroidery that is already coming a bit loose/frayed.

My rug is better in real life than in the photos: vibrant colours, clean, beautifully textured. Lying on it is like being on a velour cloud, and the New Zealand wool is fabulous quality although it doesn't have the signature lanolin smell of vintage Moroccan rugs. (This is a plus for a lot of people.) When my delivery was delayed without explanation for almost three weeks, Benisouk sent a second beautiful rug as an apology gift which was unexpected and much appreciated.

I was really apprehensive about ordering from Benisouk as there weren't many online reviews at the time (this was November 2020). The rug was slightly delayed (by about a week - but fair enough since I am in Australia and there's a pandemic) and that made me nervous, but when it got here it was exactly as described and incredibly beautiful. The prices are great. Only knocking one star off as the customer service is a bit slow and uninformative. It sounds like they are under-resourced on customer service staff. I will definitely order again soon
