Wool Rug
Overall a good experience and a really nice rug. The process is super long, it took 4 months from ordering to delivery, but there were semi-regular updates so the communication was good.

The rug is beautiful and the shipping…
The rug is beautiful and the shipping took almost no time at all given I’m based in Australia. I received timely, un-prompted updates on the status of my rug so I never needed to guess where the production was up to. I will say that the colours in the rug design deviated much more than I was expecting from what was advertised. The colour of the pink in my rug was much, much darker and there was supposed to be other shades of pink but this isn’t the case with my rug. I understand this is because the rug is hand-woven and hand-died which is great, but I wish I was prepared for just how different the product would be.

The rug arrived in a very timely…
The rug arrived in a very timely manner. It was not the exact size as the dimensions. The rug also has an off putting smell. I don't know if that is common for vintage Morrocan rugs.

Benisouk might be the only brand I've…
Benisouk might be the only brand I've discovered thru an instagram ad that actually sold a quality product. The rug I ordered came direct from Morocco. The colors are vivid and the wool is super soft. Only thing was there were bits of plants and stickers stuck throughout the rug when we first got it (certified it is natural). After picking those bits out over the first week or two, the rug is pretty great. Have only had it for a year but it is holding up well!

Helpful service, shipping much longer than expected
We ordered a custom made rug at the end of July. I had a number of questions prior to making the purchase and the company was very responsive. The rug was supposed to take 10-12 weeks to ship (arrival at beginning to mid October). The rug hasn’t arrived yet and it is the beginning of December. I am not sure if the delays are covid-related or something else. If you’re ordering be aware the shipping may take longer than expected, which seems to be typical with most purchases these days.
