From the moment I got in contact with Jessica to the moment I found myself home after surgery, my entire experience with BeLiteWeight has been nothing but a pleasure and joy. I contacted Jessica over 2 years ago, discussed surgery for my gastric sleeve, financials, and all the Dr. Rodriguez offers. I saved up, watched his utube of the surgery and in July 2019 I was able to contact Jessica with the green light to put me on the schedule. She remembered me from over 12 months prior! I was so impressed by that. Their customer service is top notch. My Airport to hospital transportation went off without a hitch even though we had an unexpected 2hr layover and delay in arrival time. Their driver was at the airport waiting for my husband and me. The check in at the hospital in Juarez,Cuidad Mexico was simple and efficient. All of the hospital personnel that I dealt with spoke English. I am a nurse myself and my Mexico hospital experience puts American hospitals to shame. The staff was polite, courteous, happy, friendly and helpful each and every encounter. My husband and I studied all of the pre op and post op diet materials and I ordered my clear liquids with 20grams of protein on Amazon before our trip. I was given around the clock pain medications and anti nausea medications without having to ask for it! I had my surgery on 8/9/19. I have not had one single episode of nausea or vomiting. I stopped my pain pills by 4 days post op. I am up and moving, losing 2lbs a day, sipping on my 20gram bottles of clear liquids. I am getting 40grams of protein in 32ounces/2 16 oz bottles daily. Premium protien clear protein drink for 17.00 a case on Amazon. All in all I feel great and am going back to work soon. Total of 2 weeks off because I have to drive with my job and I want to be sure I am at top notch before jumping back into my demanding job. The whole experience has been wow, i am doing this, wow i did this and WOW it wasn't nearly as scary or as bad as I thought it would be! I completely believe that my excellent experience is due to BeLiteWeight and Dr. Rodriguez expertise in their start to finish compleye surgical experience. I am so glad I found Jessica and kept her information on my bulletin board for the last 2 years! 227lbs- 8 days later 213lbs. Age 53. Female.

From the beginning of the process, to the very end, everyone was attentive and caring. I was very nervous about going into Mexico for surgery. Honestly, the hospital there was cleaner, just as nice and I was taking care of in English at ever turn. I would highly recommend BeLiteWeight. Best experience, and I should have done it sooner. I had no complications, and all the staff was highly trained and understanding of my apprehension. I cannot express my gratitude enough. I am 90 pounds lighter and I have a whole new out look on life.

I had gastric sleeve in 2015 and my wife had it in 2019. BeLiteWeight served us well. Jess set up with our connection from the airport to the hospital, doctors, and back to the airport. The taxi rides from and to the airport were good, drivers were courteous and demonstrated care and interest. The surgeons at the hospital in Juarez were second to none.. The hospital is as clean and modern as any I have experienced in the U.S. The hospital staff are caring and courteous. We forgot a toothbrush and the hospital PR person gave us two new Oral B brushes. Small things like that make a difference. Overall, we are both pleased with our experience in Juarez and the service of BeLiteWeight.

I started my weight loss journey in November 2018 at age 59. For years I had tried to lose weight. Until I turned 50 I never experienced weight issues. Blood work was fine with the exception of high cholesterol. After researching the various weight loss centers and options I went with BeLiteWeight. This is because they were responsive, had good reviews and the cost was reasonable. In all honesty I was borderline as far as my BMI level. Once approved things went fast. I rarely travel so not only was it foreign for me to travel but to venture to another country was an experience. Fortunately, I have always had an adventurous spirit so I bit the bullet and made reservations to fly from California to El Paso. Once in El Paso I was picked up by shuttle and driven across the boarder into Juarez, Mexico. My reservations were for early February. Even before departing I was provided a pre-op diet and post-op diet. If I had any questions my patient counselor, Lejla, was reachable. Despite contacting her on weekends or after hours Lejla was always available. I was surprised at how smoothly my surgery went. The only challenge is that I speak little to no Spanish. Staff at the hospital speak little to no English with the exception of the doctors. At one point the water for the hospital was shut off but that is atypical. A water line broke so the the entire area had their water turned off. At all times I was treated with dignity and respect. Following surgery I was provided with medication and instructions on how and when to take my medication. I would recommend taking a few days off following surgery. I returned to the Bay Area on Thursday and went back to work on Monday. Overall I felt great. Six months post op surgery and I am happy to report that I am down from 162 lbs to 125 lbs. Prior to surgery despite watching my diet and walking five days a week, it was impossible for me to lose weight. I am so happy with my weight loss surgery that I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who seriously wants to lose weight. Be prepared to make lifestyle changes if you want to keep the weight off. In the end you will be healthier. BTW, I underwent gastric sleeve surgery. One last thing... I took photos at the boarder crossing and I witnessed no caravans or migrants. Don't believe what our president is saying. Once entering Juarez, I couldn't help but notice how clean the streets and the area is. A big shout out to Lejla. Lejla, thank you for answering all my questions and for being there. Outstanding and exceptional work performed by Dr. Jose Rodriguez Villarreal. He not only did a great job but coming from the U.S never to México made my experience calming and relaxing and to all the nurses on staff they were easy going and great at each of their jobs. I want to thank all the staff, Dr. Villarreal, and Joanne, and Ginger from BeLiteWeight for all their individual help and care to getting me there and changing my life for the better ,Thank You All...!! Had my surgery done in Juarez Mexico recently..and the experience was awesome...Everyone was very professional the staff, Surgeons,nutritionist ..Everyone!..if The hospital surroundings were awesome!!..People kinda look at me funny when I tell them that I got it done in Mexico but I feel this was the best option for me & it came out great!!!...Now just to continue on my New Journey!!!

I am almost 3 weeks post-op and feeling good. My experience was better than expected. My facilitator Jessica was there every step of the way to make sure that I was comfortable. The recovery was smooth and speedy. I really appreciated that Jessica called the week after surgery to check on me, answer any questions, and make sure that everything went well. I felt more comfortable with the journey knowing that she was speaking from experience. She has been a voice of comfort and motivation in my journey.
