My experience with BeLiteWeight and my surgeons was absolutely amazing! Dr. Elmo was GREAT! He went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that was going to happen during surgery and what to expect post op. He really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Rod and the rest of the team were there for me as well. I felt that everyone, from my Patient Facilitator to the Surgeons and staff, to the nurses at the hospital, really genuinely cared about me and my health. I had previously lost 100 lbs with the lap band (from a different Dr.), had it removed and then eventually started re-gaining. Slowly over the last 6 years, I managed to gain back 70lbs. I was hesitant about having to have "another" surgery but realized after my 40th birthday that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life being overweight and unhappy. I decided my health and happiness needed to be my first priority. I called BeLiteWeight the very next day. The different surgeries were explained in detail to me and all my questions thoroughly answered. I talked to several past patients who had their revisions done by Dr. Rod and Dr. Elmo in Juarez and they were all successfully losing weight, off medications, and extremely happy with the care they received. I ended up choosing the Gastric Bypass and I have had NO issues. My surgery was Dec 15, 2015 and in less than 2 months I've gotten rid of 30 pounds (SO FAR!). I'm not hungry and obsessed with food all day long, which is probably the best part! I don't know why I waited so long...I'm feeling sooo much healthier already, and as a result..MUCH HAPPIER! The compliments I'm receiving from family and friends are total validation that I made the right decision! As an over wieght unhealthy unhappy medicale professional / single parent of four I knew I needed to drop the wieght and diets were not working my insurance of course would not cover surgery ... l reached out to Belite met with Jamie to my amazement she made everything come together fast and easy I along with my daughter elected to go to Juarez and have our surgery from then on Jamie and the staff of Belite made every thing from finance to surgery to recovery an amazing journey the Drs bedside manner was amazing we met Dr Rodriguez and Dr Elmo their gifted hands created a much smaller stomach to help us reach our wieght loss dream they came to our beside every day and at night checking up on us making sure we had our pain controlled and answered our questions we were set up with an IV that we controlled by pressing a button for medication for pain control .. the hospital staff was quick ,caring and very much unlike U.S. Hospitals it was quite no paging over head .. No loud alarms .. Just clean peaceful ...the hospital state of the arts , clean , pretty , the anesthesiologist come to our bedside and spoke to us and reasured us everything would fine she was a beautiful woman that not only calmed us and informed us but made us want to look like her she was slim very well put together and conducted herself in a professional manner and Our tripe was very safe we were picked up by a lovely gentleman that drove us from the airport straight to the front door of the hospital .. We were greeted by an amazing office staff and then to our surprise unlike in the states a physician Dr Calderon met us and dose with every patient to hand carry every pt from admission to dismissal and checks on you every day.. We were Shocked ! He is a face to remember a reassuring pleasure that welcomes you to bring every one a calming sense of every thing will be just fine he speaks English and Spanish as to make it all flawless ...After my daughter and I had our surgery Five additional family members have gone along with many friends and medical profession friends . If you are thinking of having wieght loss surgery I strongly recommend you place your trust in the Hands of this gifted Drs and their staff you will be very happy with your out comes . You deserve the best and Belite is a team that strives to make your wieght loss dream come true ...the prizing is unlike no other the care based on knowledge , driven by professionals with the patients best out comes in mind . This company is awesome. The entire experience from the beginning to present, almost 2 years later has been a blessing. I have never had one question go unanswered, no matter how trivial it might have seemed. The support has been there well after the surgery and the money has been paid. They made this affordable for me and you can tell right away it's not about the money. They really care and want you to succeed and be the best healthy you possible.

And it doesn't end there! A year and a half later they are still checking on me to see how I'm doing. They have become like family!

My experience with BeLiteWeight has been an A+ in every facet. While we are all certainly in whatever our business to make a profit, the BeLiteWeight team is still going above and beyond to firmly establish that I was/am more than a "check" and/or "number." They wanted me to succeed and be 100% satisfied! Before surgery, they gave me time to commit mentally, emotionally and financially. Before committing, I called numerous times and they were always happy to answer questions without undue pressure to commit. The very fact that they weren't pressuring me was a big indicator that they were not a typical weight loss group. I've recommended them to numerous friends and acquaintances. Several have gone the distance in using them. Their reviews are as mine. Excellent! As far as my success, I went in at a whopping 442 pounds, and I've lost down to 230. You do the math! :)
