Won't recommend anyone to use their service. When pinpointed certain things, their staff Project Manager? got very aggressive, abusive and threatened to talk to him face to face. Absolutely lacking professionalism. I tried to calm him down, but he was too emotional to rationalize what I tried to convey him. Later, I attempted to call Belfor company to report this, and I had been told that their GM would call me back. No calls / follow up from this company to enquire at least what happened. The staff being aggressive done some psychological damage to me despite of not getting my problems addressed because of the basement flood that happened two months ago. Absolutely disappointing and heart breaking.

Absolutely disgusting and run with a complete lack of morals. They drop someone to whom they owe $40,000+ in commissions to avoid paying out, with no valid reason or performance based review. Stay far, far away, as a customer or as a potential employee.

Poor communication, sloppy work, careless employees, multiple excuses, corporate greediness, and no concern for the customer.
This is a recap of my experience with Belfor Restoration out of Cuyahoga Falls. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience. We had a house fire that consumed a portion of our home. We went through the insurance company, and this is who our insurance company recommended. It all started great. I met with the sales representative who travelled to the house to assess the damage and take pictures. The house was a long drive from the home office, but I was told that would not be a problem.
We set up another meeting to discuss the plan that the rep came up with to complete the restoration. The rep was willing to travel close to my work to make it convenient for me. We sat at a restaurant and went over the proposal. He took the time to explain the details as best as possible to me and tried to make sure I understood. I signed the contract and we were set. Things went south quickly after this point.
The foreman in charge of our restoration came out to meet with me. Right off the bat he complained about the distance he had to travel and the construction in the area. When we were walking through the plan set by the rep, the foreman started changing a lot of the details in the contract. We kept walking through the plans, and I kept informing him that is not what I was told and what was put in the contract. Finally, he reluctantly started talking about the process from the standpoint of the contract.
We were not offered to be put up while the work was to be done, and we had no other place to stay. When it came time to start doing the work, we made arrangements to be as accommodating as possible as my wife just underwent a severe surgery a month prior. But crews didn’t show up when we were told they were going to show to start the work. Cleaning was to take place first, but the crew kept not showing to clean before the process was to start. And when they did finally show, everyone was complaining about the distance of the drive. The crew that showed first was not the crew for cleaning. We ended up cleaning the areas ourselves. We were also told we would see compensation, but we never did.
We would have weeks in between crews showing up to do work. The foreman kept using the excuse of the distance and how it was hard to get people to travel to the site. The company kept trying different companies out our way but were getting mostly incompetent crews.
When Belfor finally was able to settle on one specific company to help them, this crew started with the attic. While working in the attic, one of the employees almost came through my ceiling. They damaged the ceiling in multiple places as well. Pictures are included. When this was pointed out to the foreman, he said it will be fixed. The fix was horrible. They didn’t line the panels back up evenly. They just used putty to fix it and created a roll in the ceiling. More pictures are attached. While doing work in the attic still, the company damaged my AC ductwork. The AC would only push out hot air. Theis was fixed by the foreman. All he did was go into the attic and put a bunch of tape over the area. This did not fix the situation, so we complained. Nothing was done to fix this completely and we are stuck with a poorly function AC.
Originally I signed off on a small dumpster for the work to be completed. Belfor ordered a large dumpster to be rolled out onto my cement driveway. This sunk my pad. It has created a gap between the other surrounding pads and dropped by an inch or more. This is only going to progressively get worse unless we pay to fix it. Their team also spilled a good amount of paint around the dumpster that will not come up off the cement as well.
The company cut my bushes around the house that they are still trying to recover over a year later. The siding was hung before a window in the back was replaced. The window was in the contract to be replaced in full originally. The window that was bought was a simple drop in window so the siding would not have to be pulled off and rehung.
When the painting was done inside the house, Belfor’s team got paint all over my kitchen floor. It is still there because it was not replaced with the other flooring. Our bedrooms we never cleaned fully. We opted to clean them ourselves because Belfor could not get a cleaning crew to commit to out house because of the distance. When a cleaning crew finally showed up, we had done most of the cleaning because we were still living in the house. We were told again that we would be compensated but never were.
Because of the type of home loan I have through USDA, I was told I would be given a representative to help navigate the paperwork between Belfor, USDA, and the insurance company. This never happened and I was left to figure this out all on my own. For these reasons I highly do NOT recommend Belfor.

Do not go with with company
Do not go with with company, they took almost 2 years to complete my mother's house. They switched people so much on this job no one knew what they were doing, would do work for about 2 hours and leave if they showed up.
This company have no communication with each other and not with the customers. Jason Pinder is very unprofessional and rude. He acts like he cares about your job at first then falls off and wants nothing to do with the project. I had to reach out to his boss to get the house done.
Then when the work was finally getting done it was poor workmanship. Each contractor had to fix problems at least 2-3 times. Including painting, Staining, bathtub and shower installation, caulking, baseboard installation not cut properly, hiding places with no drywall and slapping a piece of baseboard on it, uneven walls, and the list goes on. We are still waiting on the yard and cabinets to be fixed 3 months after they finally competing the house.
I had to stay on top of them all the time and them trying to charge to much.
(Carefully look over what they are charging you for- actually It would be best to go with a different company TRUST ME. I wish I could add more pictures.

Belfor is a disaster. Incompitent at best.
I cant express enough how much of a disaster this company is, specifically Michelle Wetheral. I am 8 weeks in and I feel I am going backwards, Michelle is incompetent and does not know what she is doing. Peel Mutual is my insurer and they finally fired Belfor this past week.
My Garage and sunroom where destroyed in the ice storm, they left 2 unsafe structures standing for 7 weeks. Not stabilized and not secured. They were forced to take the building down by my insurance company last week, they literally 'threw' everything into a trailer. I can't even speak, its so infuriating.
They never filed any paperwork in 8 weeks with the adjuster. The new company now has to figure it out blind.
