I have been a client of Belairedirect since 2004. Recently, l missed the renewal date for our home insurance as l did not remember seeing the renewal email. Belairdirect cancelled my policy as l would expect. However, l still had both cars insured with them and when l attempted to reinstate the home insurance after l noticed my error, they refused. They have a policy that states they will not insure an uninsured home. No exceptions. How stupid is that? I insured my home and autos the same day with TD minutes after canceling my remaining auto policies with Belairedirect. The number one thing l learned is that this company does not care about it’s customers or customer loyalty.

Very un professional, no consideration for others, don't care about fraud just money.

I want to do my renewal but they told me to go to a different company because they didn't know how to help me fill the renewal .....

I have been a Belairdirect customer for 15 years and have never missed a payment. When I added my wife to my policy, I was told there would be no charge. I was then billed $345 and have been unable to get a clear explanation for why. I contacted customer service multiple times, but there were significant communication difficulties, and I was unable to receive clear answers to my questions. After 15 years of loyalty, I expected better transparency and customer service. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and am considering moving my insurance elsewhere.

Belair Direct is terrible when making a claim. It took nearly over a month to review body shop’s photos for an estimate. Other Car broke down, requested roadside assistance, they chose a third party that was already on a call and a 40 minute wait estimate changed to 1 hour and 30 minute wait estimate

Very good company. Very good at taking your money. Very poor at customer service. Made a claim (first time in my life) for an accident which was clearly the other driver's fault (she admitted, the police decided). a week after the accident and the claim, 0 updates, 0 progress (I took the car to a body shop a day after the accident). Out policy doesn't include a rental car, but since it was the other side's fault we asked for a rental at their expense. At first Belair said we will get it and just need to wait 24-48 hours, and then 72 hours and then 96 hours and then 144 hours, and nothing. All the representatives are very understanding, and they know how frustrating it is, and we just need to wait patiently, but nothing is done and no one get's back to us, no matter what they promise.
