STUDENTS BEWARE! AVOID BeerMoneyBooks.com
My experience is very similar to others here and I wonder if "suspected conterfeit" may be an excuse to delay or avoid payment. Are they trying to sell our books while we wait? I sent two books and heard nothing until I emailed them after a couple weeks. BMB responded that my books were "under review". Then, when a month had passed with no communication, I emailed again and BMB responded that one of my books was suspected counterfeit. I asked "Which one?" and Wendy wrote back that they can't "relish" any more information. So I wrote back "Why not? Don't you know which book you sent to the publisher?" and got no response. I have photos of my books and the receipts from from my college bookstore. I called the bookstore manager and she assured me that they're very careful and have never sold a counterfeit textbook. If they're delaying and avoiding payment to students, who send their books in on good faith, then that faith is misplaced. It's ridiculous that they never update anything on my order status and they won't tell me which book was supposedly sent to the publisher. Something doesn't smell right. There are plenty of other book buying companies that communicate and pay promptly.

Hi Ron, We issued your check for $42.98 as soon as we heard back from the publisher that your book was not a counterfeit. If bookstore managers could actually pick out counterfeit textbooks Follett and other suppliers probably would not have sold tens of thousands of counterfeit textbooks through college bookstores nor been sued for millions of dollars for selling and distributing counterfeit textbooks. Alas, you are entitled to leave whatever unsubstantiated opinion you like on this platform. Please relish your payment.
