I'm new to newsletters AND Beehiiv I have nothing to which to campare it, but I have enjoyed the wealth of materials to learn how to get started (slack, Reddit, YouTube), frequent product shipments, and dumbing down of setup. One gripe is that if you want to privatize your newsletter the non-subscriber's user experience is clunky... you have to give them a "request access" form instead of a real "subscribe" form. For the most part I was able to get my own newsletter up and running in about 3 weeks without much challenge, I feel it's secure and I've gotten support every time I've asked for it. Though recently (last night) I did get a "we don't recognize your account" message from their bot. A little concerning. I give this a thumbs up for those new to newsletters, and I'm confident any issues and lacking features will be handled in their frequent product shipments.

Update: I received an email in the response of this review and was able to report the newsletter I received, thanks. My review is based on a newsletter I received from a Beehiiv customer, I myself am not a customer though! --- I have been receiving a newsletter I want to unsubscribe to but the unsubscribe button is hidden, you can only see the text in the footer if you select the text. It has the same text color as the background. I wanted to report this email to Beehiiv as I'd expect the color was modified by the person who writes the newsletter, but there is no way of contacting support without registering at Beehiiv which is very annoying...

Platform seems like it is in ultra-beta mode and we all are the testers. Customer support is a little slow given the lack of platform functionality and ease of use. I will say I am going to stay with this for as long as I can because I believe in the product. But once things start falling apart I will move to sub stack.

It's a cool platform whose functionality is really broad. In fact, in a nutshell, you can use it as a way to communicate your opinions, news or other stories to your subscribers and audience. It all depends on what it is you do. For example, if you're a personal blog or an author, you can send your readers your work or news that is relevant to your topic. The real plus is that the use of this platform is very simple and anyone will cope with this task. You can add any animation you want to the content, make templates and save drafts. What can not fail to please the users of this resource is an analysis of activity and reports that are immediately displayed in your profile. And the main plus is that you can edit a newsletter already sent, if you suddenly change your mind or make a mistake somewhere. The only downside, a couple of times flew saved templates, but this is not very upsetting, there are more pluses than minuses.
