Seems to be frequently used by scammers to send you fraudulent emails. The Abuse Team does not respond when you report cases and apparently does not take any further steps to protect you from the scammers.

Sends spam emails
This platform is constantly used to send out spam emails. When you try to report the emails to beehiiv the report button doesn't work. How convenient

Junk Emails
I looked into this company once last year. Since then, no matter how many times I hit unsubscribe, they refuse to take me off their mailing list.

Beehiiv is a really BAD platform for…
Beehiiv is a really BAD platform for newsletters. I just uploaded my email list and they blocked my account without any warning.
Their policy is not user-friendly at all. You spend 3 to 5 months growing your newsletter, and once you upload some lists, they automatically block your account and never reopen it.
Avoid this platform if you want to protect your hard work and time.
OK Here is my beehiiv a/c email id - subhashm872 @ gmail.com

If your account was blocked by a false-positive of our spam prevention measures, we're more than happy to re-enable the account.

Hi Chris, if the block was a false positive, a note to support is all that's needed for a review.
I am sorry for this frustration, and I'm reviewing our process to see if we can make this more user-friendly.

I keep getting spammed by Beehiiv marketing I haven't consented to
I keep getting spammed with marketing emails from different addresses all on the Beehiiv platform. When I've written to the Data Protection Officers from the companies, they all say I apparently clicked links within their marketing emails (which are all using Beehiiv) to sign up to their marketing lists. But what none of them can explain is how they got my email in the first place, to send me an email that I apparently clicked a link in. A chicken and egg situation that they won't respond to. The other thing is - every single one of the emails has gone to my Junk folder, so links are automatically fully disabled and I know for a fact I have never clicked on a single link from these scam artists.
Somehow Beehiiv seem to be in on the scam. They have ignored all my emails about it despite having sent them to multiple addresses within Beehiiv and Beehiiv's automated system even sending me a feedback request in reply to my email, asking how it went when it was resolved - proving they got the email. I obviously gave negative feedback and guess what - no one ever got back to me about it.
I believe Beehiiv are falsifying marketing consent to a whole range of companies using their platform, which is against the law thanks to GDPR. And they've potentially obtained my email through illegal means in the first place. I have reported the emails and blocked all the sending addresses, yet every fortnight an entirely new company using the Beehiiv platform appears in my inbox having signed me up to their mailing list somehow. I 100% believe Beehiiv is behind this and they are a shady company.
Edit to address Beehiiv's response: Notice the two most important things they haven't addressed in their response - 1. Completely ignoring the fact I have already reported these matters to their DPO by email AND through their own automated feedback system, AND tried to chase up responses but it has all been ignored. Where is the reply about that? Why aren't Beehiiv concerned about hearing that? - 2. Nothing in the response addresses the fact that Beehiiv is the only common factor in all these companies that are sending me illegal marketing communications without my consent. How is it that all these companies who only have the one thing of using the Beehiiv platform in common with each other, somehow have gotten hold of my personal data and don't care that I haven't consented to marketing? I shouldn't need to report anything to a specific email address separate to their DPO because it shouldn't be happening in the first place, and this company is the only common factor where it is happening! If someone is misusing my data or contacting me illegally, the law under GDPR says I go to the company's DPO, nowhere else, their abuse email address shouldn't even exist for my circumstances because it should be the DPO handling external contact from me.

Hello - if you're receiving emails you didn't sign up for, you can report them to [email protected]. beehiiv as a company doesn't send official communications without explicit opt-in. As an email service provider, we host hundreds of thousands of users and work very hard to block anyone abusing the platform.

Beehiiv cares more about woke pronouns than their customers
I connected my own domain to Beehiiv, and although the account settings indicated everything was fine, I encountered persistent SSL-errors and couldn't access the Beehiiv platform using the custom domain.
The first support response was unhelpful, simply stating that my settings were correct, and the ticket was closed prematurely. After multiple follow-ups clearly explaining the problem, I received a generic response and a GIF that didn't address the issue. Despite trying on multiple browsers and internet connections, the problem remained unresolved.
It feels like Beehiiv prioritises their stance on woke language over providing effective customer support and a functional product. It's extremely frustrating when support seems unable to address basic technical issues, which should be more important than forced inclusivity.
I've wasted 4 days trying to resolve this with support, and my issue is still not fixed. Do yourself a favour and stay away from here! (There are better alternatives that actually work)
