I contacted BeatStars Publishing support with a complex question about how my songwriter's writer's share of public performance royalties would reach me as an Italian composer registered with Soundreef. Jon provided a detailed, clear and professional explanation that fully resolved my doubts. Excellent support!

The service is atrocious and deceptive. I was unaware that I had a subscription to promote and sell beats and they refuse to give you a refund. The customer service rep just ignores you when you state the facts, they hide behind a "no refund" policy in order to scam you. I didn't receive a notice of renewal regarding my subscription. I don't recommend using this considering all of the one star reviews.
Response from BeatStarsJul 20, 2026
Hi Connie Tran, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience has left you feeling frustrated. We understand how upsetting unexpected subscription renewals can be, especially if you weren't expecting the charge. While our subscription terms and refund policy are outlined at the time of purchase, we recognize that every situation is unique, and we're sorry that your experience with our support team did not meet your expectations. If you believe there are circumstances surrounding your renewal that haven't been fully reviewed, we'd appreciate the opportunity to take another look. Please reach out to our Support Team with your account details and ticket number so we can carefully review your case: https://help.beatstars.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Alternatively, if you have the reference number of your ticket where this insight can be provided, kindly provide us with the ticket reference number to have a further check. We value your feedback, and it's through comments like yours that we continue working to improve both our support experience and our communication with customers.

A customer service rep named Bruno was quick and helpful with resolving a fraudulent message issue I had, told me what to watch out for with every message regarding a sale, and was all around pleasant to converse with on this matter. No time wasted and a solid, simple solution!!

BeatStars is a great platform I always get my leases from there and it’s super professional. Recently had some issues with an old beat I bought in the year of 2020. (At the time of writing this review its 2026). It kept getting blocked when I tried to upload it to streaming services due to copyright claims. I did not have the record of the purchase other than a PayPal receipt. Luckily, the good staff at Beatstars (Bruno) was able to find my purchase and send me the link to the Beat contract and I was able to submit that to my distributor (distrokid). After that the song went through no problem. Five stars for the support and for this companies professionalism.
