Unexpected recurring charge and disappointing customer service
I purchased Creatine Gummies from Bear Balanced in June for $91.58. Three months later, I was unexpectedly charged $121.47 as a recurring payment. I could not find the subscription confirmation the company says was sent to me, and when I logged into my Bear Balanced account, no subscription was shown for me to manage or cancel. I contacted the company immediately after discovering the charge and requested cancellation and a refund. They refused the refund, citing their subscription/final-sale policy. My experience has left me very dissatisfied. I believe recurring charges should be clearly disclosed, easily accessible in a customer’s account, and simple to cancel. I would advise customers to carefully review the checkout terms and monitor subsequent charges.
