Both have gone to our product team, clumping included. To be transparent about how our subscriptions work, the recurring billing schedule is shown directly above the purchase button at checkout, before an order goes through. Shopify requires that disclosure on every subscription order, and we take the obligation seriously. Cancelling does not have to go through anyone: the account icon sits next to the cart at the top of any page, sign in with the email or phone number on your order, and pause, change or cancel from there.
