Bike is good quality and the communication and customer service were outstanding. My only criticism would be with the packaging of the bike for transport and delivery. FEDEX delivered the bike with damage to the 3-speed shifter at the wheel and the axle nut on the front wheel. The box said “Do Not Lay Flat”. It was laid flat and dragged on the floor in transit. The shifter and axle nut poked through the box and were damaged. Beach Bikes needs to put a protective cover (plastic or other padding) to protect critical parts that could be forced through go the cardboard.

Very good process, awesome bike. Good communication from start to finish. Only gripe was they didn’t ship all I ordered and said that it did and they were out of stock of one item and didn’t let me know. But they addressed it. Very please with the overall experience

I have bought many bikes over the years from you. I just wish you would pack them better. there always seems to be something wrong and u=I have to request parts from you. it would have been nice if someone had reviewed my order and realized the back rack would not fit, I had to order a mono adapter from amazon to complete the installation. you need to bet better customer service to get the 5th star.

I initially ordered a bike that came in the mail with a some big scratches on the frame. After some phone calls I was able to return the bike and get another one sent to replace it. So now I have the new bike and it's beautiful. My daughter really likes it. Thank you for fixing our initial hiccup!

Overall, am happy with the three bikes. However, the Instructions weren’t great / detailed, not as bad as IKEA but better photos would have been useful. Why don’t you include the required metric hex wrenches? Most furniture that needs to be assembled comes with the 25 cent Allen wrench; not sure why the bikes don’t as well. Had to run to Home Depot to obtain a set to assemble bikes, as they were metric... Finally, the fenders are difficult to align especially the front one.

Shipping was quick. I knocked off 1 star for 2 reasons: when customizing my bike using the online website, I added the rear rack. It did not prompt me to also add an adaptor, so I assumed it was included with the rear rack addition. I happened to call a rep with a different question and somehow, the adaptor came up and she informed me that it was an additional charge. I told her the customization app did not add that charge when I added the rear rack. She said must be a glitch. She kindly waived the charge for me. Well, thank goodness I called, or the bike would have been incomplete and delayed (it was a gift.) Secondly, while most of the bike was pre-assembled, it took two days of use before I noticed that the washer/nut on 1 side that is used to keep the pedals in place, had been totally undone! They were just dangling at the actual pedal. The pedals were loose. It was an easy fix, but I didn't expect any of the pre-ssembled parts to be poorly done. Other than these two issues, the bike is beautiful.
