The BBB is owned by “businesses”
The BBB is owned by “businesses”. Why would a so called consumer organization have to allow a business approve or disapprove a review prior to publishing. We utilized their service for mediation with a contractor. The contractor agreed to terms during mediation, yet then recanted. Now, the BBB will not allow our complaint or review affect the business rating even though the business attempted to change the terms of the agreement. Since we would not accept the business’ revised terms outside of mediation, the BBB is defending the business and leaving them in good standing. The BBB is in no way a consumer protection organization.
