Steve I.
Started out well ended bad.
Started out well ended bad. I complained about Visible to the BBB. They started a case. Verizon (not visible) responded immediately by saying they reached out to me and now "consider the case resolved". What a joke. No resolution but consider the case resolved. Of course I immediately rejected their claim to resolution stating that they merely said they were going to do something about the problem...my refund. So Verizon sent me another email, and said my phone was on the way and then told BBB that they considered the case resolved. But this time, I was not able to reject the status of "Resolved". Instead, BBB send me a thank you letter and dismissed my case. Clearly, BBB is no longer in the game to expose scam companies and protect consumers. I don't recommend using the BBB at this point. It's clear to me that they are taking money from companies that want protection. Both ABC news (2010) and CNNmoney (2015) did stories exposing pay for ratings schemes where companies are offered a plan for annual fees that could gain them better ratings under certain circumstances. Media created fake companies and paid up front to get A- ratings.
